How do you make CUSTOM GHOSTS? UPDATE

I have tried asking this but no one gave me the answer I was looking for...
I want by sim to have ghosts come into the household, but I dont want any of the NPC ghosts found in the cemetary
So I made a sim and killed them (starvation) at the cemetary (so that their tombstone would already appear there.)
but whenever my 'custom ghost' came out of her tomb at midnight, my living sim cannot interact with it in anyway.
I would click on my 'custom ghost' and I would get a little box that says: 'no interaction available'
sooo................
Any Ghost experts out there....
how do you get ghosts that you create (by killing sim) to interact with you?
I know I could just wait for the opportunity to appear, but I want to atleast become friends with the ghost before that happens.

HERE IS WHAT I MEAN:

I JUST BARELY MOVED MY SIM INTO THE HOUSE THAT SHE DIED IN!!! AND IT STILL WONT LET ME EVEN TALK TO HER!
IT IS NOT BECAUSE HE IS SLEEPING, IT HAPPENS WHEN HE IS AWAKE TOO...

When my sim died of old age, all of his family members and even a new household member that he never knew before could interact with the ghost. So I don't know why it's not working for you.

maybe it is because she died at the cemetary, and you ghost died at the lot where you household lives...

I'm not an expert in ghosts, but I would make a guess that the problem might be with your sims, not the ghosts. Are your sims very tired by the time the ghost appears? When my sims' energy bars get to almost nothing but red, almost everything I click on says : No interactions available, and when I hovered over that, it gave me a messaged something along these lines: Your sim is too tired to do that!

Just an educated guess, since ghosts don't usually appear until late. Hope I helped.

To get a playable ghost you must become friends with a ghost npc and it will eventually pop up, if you reject all other opportunity EXCEPT Oh My ghost.

I am going to try to kill her vat her own house (instead of the cemetary)
and then see if he can interact with her...
I have a feeling it has to do with the location she died at...

You can chat with any ghost... and you'll get the opportunity.

I created a whole family of ghosts if you would like to have fun with them!

Grandfather died of old age.
Father died from being electrocuted.
Mother died from being burned alive.
Daughter starved to death.
Son drowned to death.

I cant chat with the ghost I created.

well, she was by herself when she died, so I dont think she is in any household.
my problem is getting her to interact with me (like in the picture)
my sim can interact with the NPC ghosts totally fine...

Hum.. I have tried killing my sim at both her house and graveyard. It has been 5 days and still no ghost?? Her teen daughter had a high relationship with her.. sigh...

This is how you make a playable ghost: 1. Type in this cheat exactly how without quotes:"testingcheatsenabled true" do this in neighborhood view. ( to get cheat tab up press these together: ctrl.+shift+c )<--without out the +s ( pluses )
2. Make two sims in your way. :thumbup: ( Create-A-Sim )
3. Make your new sim die. ( Only the one you want to die )
4. Now you will be playing your other sim, shift+click on the ghost. ( wait till night-time for him to come out of tomb-stone :shock: ) Click on:" Add to Active Family "
5. Now you can play your ghost!

P.S. If you would like to play a pre-made sim ghost you can use any sim/household with at least two sims in the household.
