    Work progress bar won't increase

    I thought I saw a thread where someone was having the same problem but can't remember the outcome.

    My sim goes into her workplace but in the careers panel it just says "Going to work" and the bar doesn't increase. If I cancel the go to work command the bar starts to drop. She has been demoted three times. Any ideas?

      Bumped for another time zone.

      Can anyone help my (literally) poor sim? :wink:

      Is it time for her job to start, the bar does not go up until the job starts. So if you arrive and go in at 12:30 but work starts a 1:00 you must wait until that time to see progress.

      Does this happen all of the time? I had a problem where the mood bar would not increase and I had to exit the game and restart it. It was weird that something so simple fixed it.

      This is just an idea, I don't know it would work, but have you tried quitting and starting over (if the sim has already been demoted three times)?
