Help please this won't go away

I can't delete a part of my platform.
Alright yes I already searched this topic and none of the fixes work for me.
I am making a medium split level home. (For those who have no idea what I'm talkin about
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_dm7FOJG6Pk )And on the foundation I decided I'd have a platform for the bathroom just because I was into the step up for it, I put on a little stair for it. Decided I didn't want that when I've pretty much finished the house. I deleted the step onto the platform. Now I can't delete this 4x4 size platform left!
Ugh help please
It says can't delete whenever I take the sledgehammer to it.
It just told me I can't intersect modular stairs. But I have no stairs on it or around it!

Try cntl shift C "Testingcheatsenabled true" then type "moveobjects on"
(er might be move_objects on or moveobjects_on). Then try the sledge hammer on it.
You MIGHT be able to delete it that way.
IF that doesn't work, then with this same cheat still enabled, try putting the step back under it, and try deleting the platform then the step after again.
After, just type CNTL Shift C and type "Moveobjects off" and then "testingcheatsenabled false"
