fieryfemalefieryfemale Posts: 1,593 New Member
Just created my first starter home which I thought I would share on here.

I am thinking of creating a series of starter homes all named after birds. :D

What a great idea, Fiery. This one looks almost like a Birdhouse :)

Oh, and a very belated Congrats on your Mother Earth Featured in the Exchange.
Sorry, have been away for awhile, only able to pop in and out briefly, but what a great surprise for me and such an honor for you... well deserved!

This one has definite curb appeal for a starter :) What was the final cost on it?

I don't know what it was exactly but it was under 16k - I think it was 15.853k or something like that.:D

i always find starters the hardest to build because of the tight budget thats why i don't build them very often.
this house is great and is the perfect starter. if you do put this in a series i can't wait to see the others.

Ooh, I love starter homes and I really like the greens and browns used throughout. My biggest problem with building a starter is I run out of money to do much with the curb appeal and yours has very nice curb appeal. Downloaded and rec'd.

when you have a budget of 16k there is not much you can fill it with after you have built it.

But it is a good starter, there is somewhere to sleep, somewhere to wash, somewhere to cook and somewhere to chill and read a book or watch some tv. Once you sim starts earning some dosh they can fill it till their hearts content.
