    Can't install my digital download!

    :? I just bought the digital download for Sims 3 Generations... and I can't install it! And apparently there are no refunds for digital downloads... Help pleeease!

      Hey,

      What's the exact error you're seeing when you try to install the expansion?

      Have the same problem atm.

      digital download tells you to patch from the launcher-launcher doesnt recognise that the game needs patching (obviously, generations isnt installed yet)
      Currently downloading manual patch (rather large)hopefully game will allow it without installation of generations....

      Will report back with an update and whether or not extra assistance is needed.

      Had the same issue. Uninstalled/reinstalled the base game-downloaded manual patch http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/380915.page
      (the first link)
      Installed patch followed by generations Game is working no problem

      The new Sims game launcher is called Origin. go to Origin.com and download it and your game should be in there ready to download.

      i tried opening it with origin and nothing comes up. ive purchased it and just dont know how to bring it up

      the link for digital d/l is not working!
      How am i supposed to patch the game? No direct patching, no valid URL.
      Help!
