Running out of ideas. (PICS ALERT!)

So I'm making a small English town. When I say small I literally mean tiny. It's on the tiniest map, and I think it's the cutest thing ever.
Only, it's not. This bit is pretty cute;

But this bit isn't. I hate it. Why can't I sculpt decent coastlines? T_T

So how do YOU beat the coastline shaping blues? What can you suggest helps when building/planning coastlines?

    Awww, I'm sure it will be very cute when you've done! I make my height maps in Photoshop with a graphics tablet because I feel like I have much more control over the sculpting that way. Try smoothing the coastline so it's several big curves that drop off very gradually into the water. Also, when I'm stuck, I google pictures of real places to try and improve my terrain painting and sculpting. Hope that helped!

    Also, can I just ask, where did you get the train tracks?

    Awesomemod debug commands. You can create any object you want, only I haven't cracked CC yet. :(

    Sorry, I know this is OT, but are the train tracks on a lot and you do it within EIG?

    Emmies,

    Your coast line isn't that bad. Those could make some nice beaches. You may want to make them go further inland in some cases through.
