    time machine possibilities

    I just went into the past and I got a message reading something like I encountered a child that looked 'familiar' and then all of the sudden a child showed up in front of the time machine as my daughter, I've heard of trying for a baby in the past/future, but not this, what else can this invention do?

      I heard something about having children in the time machine. I think its a really cool idea :) Haven't touched the Inventer skill yet but I'm looking forward to it :)

      I had the same thing happen twice within a week to the same Sim. I believe what happens is that your Sim adopts one of his/her ancestors by saving them, in one case from getting trampled and in my second in some vague, not fully explained way. Both kids had the same eye/hair color as my Sim but showed up as her sons in the family tree...

      So it's kind of like having your sim autonomously adopt their medieval relatives without consulting the player first. :mrgreen:
