    Firefighting profession problem

    Ok so I have Vista And i just got sims ambitions (purchased from walmart) and my sim is a firefighter. Everything works fine unitl i finish putting out the fire. Nothing happens and my sim just starts doing random things when there is still a job to do. There is no completion of a job, and the fire goes all the way to a D and my guy loses experince. I don't know what to do!!

      OUch, I'd backup my stuff and reinstall. Someone else may have a better answer for you, but after I looked all over and made sure I didn't see another one, that's what I'd do. Did you check in the tech section? I'm scared to go in there at the moment. This is like the first patch/EP I haven't needed to live there, (my games seems to be working-haven't tried old save files though, started fresh for new town) so I don't want to tempt fate.
