This is the second house I've built and it's based on the cottage in Breaking Dawn. I was as faithful to the description in the book as possible while still making it livable for Sims, not using CC items, not using WA items, and not using more than a few store items. I ended up using 11 store items, but 4 of those are free. I did accidentally use some World Adventures ground textures when initially building, but I replaced them so hopefully those without WA will still be able to download the lot.
Very quaint cottage and although I can't comment from a twilight perspective I think you have done a very good job! Lovely landscaping and build and the interiors are quaint rustic but very attractive, certainly rec'd
Your cottage has got the chocolate box prettiness! I agree with Bree it is rather cute! The interiors are very cottagy and cosy! Recommended!
Allium, thank you for the compliments. I love your builds, so being complimented by you is an extra wonderful thing!
BreanneStone, I love your work as well so I'm thrilled you like this! I also like stone interiors in homes and luckily the book describes a blend of stone and wood in the living room.
Yanti68, you are yet another builder whose work I love! Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Kamcil19, I'm so glad you like it! I see by your siggy that you like Twilight, and I was hoping it would appeal to fans of the series.
It did occur to me that I neglected to include the link to the book's description of the cottage, so I added it (http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/190213.page#top - 7th post down). Hopefully that will explain mysteries like why it is stone/dark wood and then pale wood/soft wall colors, or why a small cottage has such an enormous closet!
LadyVampiress, thank you for the compliment! And I hope you don't "fade out" before you see my grateful appreciation for the gift you sent. Thank you so much! That was a lovely surprise, and it will go perfectly in this cottage! I appreciate your kindness.
Ha ha ha! No, the walk-in closet is included! I wouldn't want to offend Alice
It's a double-door room off the bedroom that I made up as "Bella's Closet/Dressing Room" (pics above) with a screen & mirrored wall section for dressing plus a dresser and cosmetics/perfumes. I originally placed the clothing racks from WA in it but I decided to not include WA materials so instead I made a sitting area of chairs and a table. The one deviation I made was that the book says the closet is bigger than the bedroom, and this cottage's closet is just a little smaller than the bedroom.

It was that awesome! That's exactly what I had pictured in my mind
