Anti-aliasing doesn't work in live mode

So I've been noticing that my game can't use anti aliasing except the in-game edge smoothing setting itself.

Here's what Ive been trying so far (both edge smoothing and post processing off):

1. Turning on SMAA on Gshade

2. Enabling SMAA on sweetFX

3. AMD radeon anti aliasing - Override application setting (multisampling level 8x)

Only in CAS everything was smooth but in live mode it looked terribly jagged. Also anti aliasing seems to work fine with Sims 3, I use one from sweetFX while disabling the in-game edge smoothing. So I suspect that something's wrong with my Sims 4.

Can anyone tell me what should I do?

Hi @Kixxinghae have you tried changing the graphics options in the options menu?

@mightysprite my graphic settings are low-medium, usually with edge smoothing on medium. Since high school update I've been experiencing FPS drop so I thought I'll lower the in-game graphic settings and try anti-aliasing on gshade/sweetfx instead, but it doesn't work in live mode 😭

What is Live mode? is it not all 'live'?

"Live Mode" is the mode you play your Sims in, ergo you command them and take care of their needs.
