I suppose I should paste the text down for ease of reading and access:
“Confining workplaces—in this case a high school—in a singular environment is immersion breaking. In GtW, I wanted some sims in Oasis Springs to join the law enforcement, but seeing them commuting through who knows how many kilometers to the station felt irksome somehow.
At the time I had a perfect solution for the existing Active Career mechanic to work in multiple environs, while players don’t have to waste valuable lots to plop down these lot types in different Worlds—which is to keep the lots as is but change their backdrop and props to match where the active sim comes from. Even though it means the interior of the workplaces remain the same in every World, I think it’s a good compromise to accommodate the existing mechanic for immersion-sake.”
