Perhaps you could explain your point a little more, rather than relying on the links?

What do you mean by "geriatric technology" and how would you want it implemented?

I mean geriatric technology that would player optionally prosthetically extend the sims life spans to player optionally allow the appearances the Sims to possibly gradually drastically age further than what is considered the max point of appearance biological age for the Sims appearances to be gradually age. Similarly to the aged details that you see on the gradual aging process age progression that you see on these justice league dark volume 1 comic book pages artwork pictures for the female character Madame Xanadu as a excellent example. RCO012.jpg
    RCO009.jpg
RCO013.jpgRCO005.jpgRCO006.jpg And similarly to what was described in Bruce Sterling's futuristic scifi novel Schismatrix(https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/161297#:~:text=THE FUTURE OF MANKIND CAN,psychotechnic training and artificial conditioning) [img][/img]original_156142_3Osm0BJBxyh7G4b5YsPIGrCnP.jpg

And similarly to that found in the Scifi channel dust CXL video https://youtu.be/qIfxHjAus2o?t=596. Longevity extended up to at least two or so decades after what is portrayed in the Raymond James commercial Emily Skinner https://youtu.be/-cS3eIob78o?t=4 And I wish there could be attempt in figuring out how this Sims 3 gradual aging mod https://modthesims.info/d/517293/age.html MTS_Consort-1403329-AgeFlyer.jpg

with its own possibly wide range of aging middle age sims and geriatric sims specific sims age group orientated content could be incorporated/implemented into Sims 4 and possibly upcoming sims 5. And the Prosthetically extended lifespan/longevity extension geriatric technology could be incorporated/implemented gradually into the sims characters through gradual invention for gradual transition/transformation of regular sims characters into sims geriatric elderly prosthetic cyborg sims. Has that help you understand at least a little bit even if not neccesarily completely understand.

Honestly it would be easier if the video links could automatically show up as videos to click and watch. And the book links kind of bring up a scifi novel to read for more game design/gameplay details and aspects research.

What you mean makes more sense now, so thanks for that.

Personally, I'm not really interested in that. I love occults, but have mixed feelings about more science fiction tropes/topics/themes. I'm honestly not all that interested in basic gradual aging as a mechanic either.

It is probably a longshot considering how little they have done with aging in 4, and how much they can shy away from some of the more unrealistic Sims content. Who knows, though.

You and number of other might not be interested in gradual aging and science fiction tropes/topics/themes for sims games such as Sims 4 however I know from various discussions that I had read and taken part that there are other simmers who are interested in those areas so it seems that with the occult sims diversity options there should be some sort of player gameplay turn on and off gameplay content optional over all broken down content percentage wise balance between aging life stages slowed aging longevity extension eternal youth longevity extension, normal life span basic gradual aging, extreme longevity extension basic gradual aging, fantasy trope/topics/themes, science fiction tropes/topics/themes, more realistic sims content, and more unrealistic sims content all optional player gameplay turn on and off gameplay content optional over all broken down content percentage wise as a more detailed version of in game options.

And you should consider that it would be excellent for the Sims 4 Legacy Challenge
It is a similar challenge to the Rags to Riches, but you have to build a family tree of ten generations with nothing in your pocket this time.

The sim which will start the challenge has to be made in Create-a-Sim. Then we will move him to an empty lot without the help of cheats.

There she will marry a person like any normal sim, but due to this challenge, she will have babies, and then her life is transferred to one of the babies until she becomes old enough to marry and have children. The process is repeated until she has 10 generations.

    Decades Challenge
This challenge involves 10 generations, which is quite like the Legacy Challenge. But the difference arises that each generation will be in different past time and decades apart. If you want to feel nostalgic and at the same time like the Legacy challenge, this challenge is for you.

This challenge will give you a trip back in time and insight into what challenges people were facing in terms of utilities. You will not have electricity and running water for three decades starting with 1980. As I said before, you must decorate your home according to your time. To complete this challenge, you must get creative. Disney Princess Challenge
This challenge is very similar to the legacy challenges. You will have to live a life of a different Disney princess throughout the challenge.

Living the life of a princess is a challenge, and you must marry 10 in one lifetime. This requires professional playing because first, you must know each Disney princess, which most of us already know, and second, you must wait for each princess story to finish to marry another.

You will start as snow white and then have 7 children from a prince. One of these seven children will be Cinderella. When Cinderella becomes a teenager, you will start playing as her, and then you will play as her daughter Tiana. When Tiana becomes an adult, you will open a restaurant because of her cooking skills and so on until you pass 10 generations.

Such a gameplay and content additions would make these challenges possibly more meaningful for those who enjoy playing wwith these challenges first of all gradual aging would more easily help the players know possibly more exactly the gradual passage of time according to the years, decades, and generations when it pertains to individual characters and their family and friends just by the gradual aging process of their appearance. And the prosthetically longevity extension/lifespan extension geriatric technology could possibly allow individual characters who have the normal rate of gradual aging and are within the right socio-economic and political status to be able to purchase and/or acquire the technology once they are invented to be able to possibly remain alive to personally witness tthe lives of possibly more generations of their descendants although they obviously would have to make the sacrifice of ththat extra amount of time of being alive would obviously they would have ththat same amount extra time alive having both their outward appearances to gradually age further than what was considered possible while also as more and more of their biological parts of their body fail due to the gradual aging process leading them to such a super extremely advanced age with technological prosthetic replacement versions of those body parts. https://segmentnext.com/the-sims-4-best-challenges/

I would actually love something more Sci fi. I mean, we had time traveling in Sims 3, and planet Sixam in 4. Not that Sixam is all that great, but I loved into the future.

I don't want another stuff pack, though- I want a new EP. Stuff packs are... not exactly the most fun imo.

And plus within the gradual aging process for Sims if there are players who prefer there Sims characters to not necessarily show their biological and chronological age with the face entire body and hair hypothetically there could always be a extra CAS subcategories within the make-up category for facial and full body makeup (Everybody knows that wrinkles, volume loss that is hollowing of facial areas, and sagging of your skin are normal areas of growing older. It doesn’t stop the dread that is included with seeing ramifications of aging on your own skin. Although it is impossible to reverse or avoid the signs of aging totally, there is a treatment for facial aging that may minimize the look of them. A Decade-By-Decade Beauty Treatment for Facial Aging: Treatments → Toner →
    Essence/Serum/Ampoule →
Sheet Mask → Emulsion → Eye Cream →
    Moisturizer → Sunscreen (day)
or Night Cream/Sleeping Mask (night)), Botox surgery/plastic surgery, laser surgery, and hair dye year by year decade by decade gradual anti aging daily, yearly, and decade-ly beauty regimen options. Although for Sims players who don't necessarily mind there Sims characters in show of their biological and chronological age as they individually gradually grow older and age and yet still would like there Sims to still use beauty regimen options there could also alternative pro-age beauty regimen options in other CAS subcategories within the Make-up category that would be a possibly a different approach to gradual aging aging encourages women to show their real age rather than masking it with different personal care products or makeup. This means that there is no pressure to meet perfection for women, or at least not the “eternal youth” type of perfection that most magazines got us used to aim for. Perfection is showing your age in the best and most beautiful way that you can. Such an approach frees women of a series of pressures and expectations that maybe they shouldn’t even have to be orientated towards.

The pro-aging movement brings serious changes in the beauty industry as well. Manufacturers of “anti aging” products that claim to make you look younger with years and even decades, should adapt their products to the expectations of the modern women. Women older than 50 start to look for different ways to express their age rather than hide it, and that involves new products that address their desire. Among the changes that the pro aging movement involves, there is the development of new products such as moisturizers that are healing the skin rather than lifting it to offer a younger look. Also, cosmetics should be more concerned of the skin tone that women have rather than the level of wrinkles they developed. Luckily, such products already exist on the market so if you are interested in respecting your age rather than hiding it, you should definitely try them. And maybe even Sims Players could and would try to gradually combine various amounts of both pro-age beauty regimen and anti-age beauty regimen options. I am simply trying to suggest attempting to broaden, widen, and diversify the Sims content and gameplay options for Sims players as much as possible and not necessarily use so excuses (I call it excuses because even if at times it is said to be valid technological reasoning for not figuring out how to do something and yet a Sims modder is able to figure out how to do something that is claimed to be not necessarily possible than honestly it has to be asked if it was a valid reason or was it simply a excuse) that possibly lead to multiple amounts and levels of division and alienation within the Simmers Community.

I myself enjoy expansion packs, stuff packs, etc because I personally view it officially does/fulfills the same/similar sort of things that unofficial mods does however more likely safer from not necessarily getting computer viruses that can happen to occur since even if as claimed by the modders the mods that they create may not necessarily originate with the computer viruses it does seem like depending on the computer game mod download/installation website ends up coming with the computer viruses most likely due to the download/installation website and with that with my personal experience it seems that unofficial mods may or may not necessarily work possibly due to glitches where as my personal experience I usually don't seem to get that with the official content such as expansion packs, stuff packs, dlcs etc. I get others say that they get seems to get the glitches with the official content. I don't necessarily have issues with unofficial mods and I even appreciate them when game designers do come out with official content. I simply have issues where people go and complain about the official content and then don't necessarily willingly recognize that official content does/fulfills the same thing just computer viruses safer. I would have appreciated and enjoyed the more so if they went and ahead figured out how to have a multiple gradual year by year decade by decade time travel time period destinations through the Century Decades

Up to possibly the fourth millennium. I guess for the sake of individual generational characters and multigenerational characters gradual aging process and for being able to possibly have a fairly good amount Sims reputed average(daily life) choices, above average but still not necessarily drastic choices and then drastic choices of range of possible Sims type of choices for changing the various possible time periods past, present, and future to change the overall timeline/reality and ultimately creating unknown but still arguably calculable number of additional timelines/realities that can be player optionally travel between with their Sims characters within a ever growing Sims computer game franchise multiverse that players can also optionally with their Sims characters through out. To go with the time traveling creation alternative history theme.

And I did also enjoy and appreciate the time traveling into the future expansion packs. I simply was still disappointed that they had it largely limited time travel destinations options. I would have appreciated and enjoyed the more so if they went and ahead figured out how to have a multiple gradual year by year decade by decade time travel time period destinations through the Century Decades

What did you think about my thoughts with the expanded/extended wealth gap, real estate and economics related options comment?

It might be a good idea. 👍 They already have a gap in Batuu, but you can't get credits unless you steal them or something. Occults, Saluni Sims, and other places might also have different currencies. I wonder if the magic realm uses a currency unknown to Glimmerbrook?
