    University Question

    The household I'm playing has only one sim. If I send that sim off to university, will they be able to move back (keep ownership) of the home they lived in before heading off to college after they graduate?

      Yes, that’s your main house, he won’t be homeless if you go to uni.

      Thank you. :) It's been a long while since I last played and even longer since I sent a sim off to a Sims 3 university.

      As basically no time passes during your stay at university, you pick up exactly where you left upon your return. You basically only lose the time it takes for the relocation rover to drive to the point in you hometown where it despawns and the drive back on your return, which is something like two in-game hours.
