  I like the idea of a Provence herbs kit but I think people would complain if they added vertical planters bc those are specific to the eco EP. Perhaps instead they could add large taller circular planters and jars for growing individual plants. Plus some new recipes to go along with the herbs.

  We have those window planter boxes, they could make them useable for planting or sprouting plants. I would like that very much. Or little pots that can be hung on the walls. As for plants, I think it would be nice if they added a peppermint plant that we could use to make peppermint tea and peppermint candy. Some lemon cake would also be nice.

  Maybe they could do tiny planters, like little pots for tables and shelves. I'd absolutely love that!

  Provence, and France in General is the kind of place should be represented in its entirety. To do it right it would have to be an Expansion. If I were creating a pack of this nature I'd make its focus:

  • Gardening
  • Nectar Making & Olive Pressing

  • Romance - I'd add all of the romantic table interactions from Sims 2, The kissing up the arm interaction and whatever over the top romance styled interaction we haven't got yet after the wedding pack.
    
  • Sight Seeing, Adventure, Archeology - I'd bring back in a soft way some of the World Adventure style obstacles for the catacombs. I'd also add a few spots for additional archeological artifacts

  • Archeological Digs - There is quite a bit of Roman archeological sites there

  I'd leave Lots open for simmers to add to - or have lots prebuilt in the local architecture style and in the gallery or unlockable if you have the packs to which they are associated. Otherwise it is a blank lot. They did this to a degree in Sims 3

  • Fig Tree - Not as important than most of the others.
  • Garlic - I'd update Garlic to be Base Game. That way it can used in all past and subsequent pack recipes
  • Grape Varietals from Sims 3 - Its fine to keep it canon
  • Lavender - Used in culinary applications and perfumery. Lavender is often used in washing clothing. Can also update the bee hive for unlockable Lavender Honey
    
    I'd also add flower arrangements with Lavender
    
    
  • Olive Tree - Olive Oil, Tapenade (below), Pizza - Mushroom & Olive (add a new order-able flavor and vegetarian friendly)

  • Roses - I'd expand upon the colors (Yellow, White, Pink, Black) and for perfumery

  Foods This is a list of the most famous French and a few specific the the Provencal region. As I would lean into the reputation of France being a culinary destination there would be a lot more recipes. The recipes in bold are the ones I'd most recommend

  • Beignets de Fleurs de Courgettes - Fried Zucchini flowers
    
  • Bouillabaisse - the dish is logically made of various fish and shellfish to which you will add tomatoes, aromatics from the South of France
    
  • Breton Buckwheat Pancakes (Galettes Bretonnes) - traditional fillings are ham, cheese, and eggs or andouille and onions

  • Cassoulet - this dish is made up of white beans, duck legs and pork (different kinds)
