So I'm playing two Sims, Matthias and Eliza. They started off as roommates, they are currently boyfriend and girlfriend.

When Matthias and Eliza were still acquaintances roommates, Catarina Lynx kept calling Matthias to hang out at her house or invite herself over to his. He kept brushing her off because he's not interested. But now, I have finally gotten everything to settle down, they are career oriented and now able to pursue their romantic attraction, so I decided to invite all the Sims my Sims brushed off along the journey over for a house party and to chat and get to know each other better. One of them was Catarina Lynx. She came over, already full of 'tude, but not towards Matthias, oh no. Her hostility was directed at Eliza and I had no say whatsoever in that. Catarina was already angry before she and Eliza even spoken a word to each other. She was being nice to Matthias though.

Luckily it didn't end in a fight but woah, Sims are drama!
