    Where have all the photos gone?

    Just logged into my game after the update and the photo wall where all my Sims photos, including some deceased legacy Sims I can't retake are all blank :(

      Was the wall you had the photos attached to made up of any kind of CC, because of course CC/mods get disabled with patches, and you have to go and manually put it all back (after going back into settings to allow mods again).

      I don't use any cc or mods. When my Sims take pics also, they are all black.

      I had the same issue a while back. Never found out how or why. All my family photos were ruined 😭😭😭 and couldn't find much info about it online.

      I'm going to clear the cache and "repair" the game but this pc is only a couple of weeks old so there's not much to clear. We'll see.

      Did you, by chance, backup your saves and Tray folder before you patched the game? If so, exchange the older saves for the new one. Let's hope this works.

      Nope, didn't back up saves :( but it's happening for new photos as well as existing ones, too.

      When that happened to me it was because of Windows update. Previous version became my best friend for a while, including restore saves while in game. Eventually I got everything back. That is also when I began keeping 3 or 4 spare S4 copies (1 on desktop, one in personal folder, one in misc. folder and occasionally one in pictures). Paranoid? Yes!

      My Sim has tons of photos on her wall, and they were still there last night. I'm on Mac though, not Windows.
