    Can you lock/unlock doors during fires, can your Sims call the fire department while somewhere else?

    First of, sorry for the lengthy title. Second, can your Sims call the fire department while in a different room of the house or do they have to be in the same room? Also, can you lock/unlock doors during a fire/when a sim is dying? I'm doing the black Widow challenge and I'd hate for my main sim to die or their house to burn down because they can't call the fire department.

      I’d also like to know but for a different reason. If I lock the front doors so no strangers come in, Will the fire department still be able to?

      Neither the fireman, nor the repoman, and not even Grimmy can enter the house while the door is locked.
