Mrs. Jones, Hyacinth
Starting Aspiration: Academic
Traits: Bookworm, Ambitious, Active, Quick Learner
I have placed Mr. & Mrs. Jones in a small city apartment they can afford with theirs starting funds. Their first priority is to get accepted into university but they will only enroll on the Sunday in two weeks when I come back.
Mr. & Mrs. Jones are out for diner with Mrs. Smith. This is ok because the Joneses are paying. Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Smith are sisters.
Mr. & Mrs. Jones spent time at the library this week getting their research and debate skill to 3.
On Thursday both SIMs got their acceptance letters and scholarships. They then took off to Selvedorada for a couple days rest. They are not allowed to dig, harvest or buy street food but they can go look for temple treasure.
They came back Saturday night and got caught up on their needs, mostly
It is Sunday 9 am time to switch households. Should be switching at 8 am. I am leaving this poor fellow poisoned at his kitchen table drinking orange juice while his wife is still asleep. They have $239. As soon as I get back in a week they will enroll in university.
Week Two, Autumn - Introductions, buying a tiny house, getting jobs
Mrs. Smith, Daisy Rose
Starting Aspiration: Freelance Botanist
Traits: Loves Outdoors, Neat, Vegetarian, Collector
Mr. Smith, Ace
Starting Aspiration: Friend of the World
Traits: Bro, Vegetarian, Music Lover, Gregarious
Mr. Smith, being very social has joined the politician career as an unruly activist. Mrs. Smith has joined the gardener career.
They purchased a 32-tile starter, a plant pot and each a guitar.
Welcome Home!
Please, please, please don’t start a fire! Thank you!
Our first guest. Mrs. Jones stopped by to say hello.
Mrs. Smith has used the weekly allotment of classes and attended skill courses in Gardening and Flower arranging. I’m already getting cloister phobic playing the 32-tile home so not sure if the gardening bonuses are worth it. Today, being the second Wednesday of Autumn, is one of my twelve calendar events called “Remember When” It’s a day to tell stories so Mrs. Smith is going to go meet people and tell stories before she gets too tired after work and classes.
I think it’s great that Mrs. Jones likes to come and visit. Daisy Rose and Hyacinth are now best friends. I hope this will last the whole challenge. Yes, only two dining chairs, oh well!
His and hers guitars ended up being a good idea.
It’s also nice to live by the sea and fish for plant fertilizer
Its Sunday 5 am. Mr. & Mrs. Smith are fast asleep. I’m going to sneak out a little early to go visit Mr. & Mrs. Jones so I can get them back home from a week of university before its time to switch back.
So far, we have $5837. Mrs. Smith is a Seed-Scatterer, Gardener 3. Mr. Smith is a Social Justice Worker, Politician 3.
Mrs. Smith, skills: Charisma 3, Comedy 3, Fishing 2, Fitness 1, Guitar 3, Mischief 1, Singing 3, Woohoo 1
Mr. Smith, skills: Charisma 4, Comedy 2, Fishing 2, Fitness 1, Guitar 3, Mischief 1, Singing 3, Woohoo 1
Mr. Jones has enrolled in Physics at Britechester, Mrs. Jones has enrolled in psychology at Britechester. She would like to study History but they are both staying at Darkwing so I can keep track of them. Both have student loans.
Just make yourselves right at home in co-ed shared housing! Poor Mr. Jones, is still dazed and suffering from being poisoned. They don’t have 1000 Simoleans for antidote. Mrs. Jones, instead of her presentation and term paper, is going to go hustle up some cash.
Hey guess what? Household inventory is not available in free build while in on campus housing! Mrs. Jones, at my request just spent all the money at the flea market with the intention on flipping furniture. That didn’t work though so I have a sick poisoned SIM who is forbidden from gardening digging and painting and no money to buy the antidote. Hopefully school goes ok for him this week. Its Sunday afternoon and they are both exhausted so no schoolwork is getting done.
So, umm, Hagrid showed up at the dorm
Maverick Jones has died from poison. Is the challenge over? No, Hyacinth will need to meet somebody nice and continue the lifepath.
Now Hyacinth has 0 Simoleans. Why?
Hyacinth is so sad. Thank goodness for family.
Sad as she, she is still working on homework.
It’s Thursday evening, Mrs. Smith has brought Hyacinth to a surprise Opera performance. She is so happy! The outing seems to have done her some good.
Friday, last big push to finish homework
Then the Sun came out along with the ping pong table.
Unfortunately, she will not be done school until after Monday so I will be late going to see the Smiths. I also need to figure out a plan of what to do with a SIM who has $10 to her name and needs to go someplace at the end of term.
It was a whirlwind. Hyacinth finished her exam and her courses on Monday having met, wooed and married a SIM over the weekend. Deuce Rocco, the second of my 100 babies has shown up in this game save due to tray settings. Hyacinth won him over fair and square. He will be the Mr. Jones now. He will go by Rocky Jones. Hyacinth left school with basically no money. Rocky had a bit better than 20000 to his name. They are back in San Myshuno to the previous apartment now empty. They are going to get set up and I will be off to see the Smiths.
Meet Rocky Jones
Hyacinth had an eventful week and despite doing all the schoolwork tasks only got: Therefore, I am A+, A History of Perception D+, Charisma Myths and Mantra C+, for a GPA of C+. Yikes
Rocky is on last day of class for first term of psychology, so we shall see.
The Jones have 1399 Simoleans after setting up a basic apartment.

Week 4, Winter - a short week due to the University problem
This week Mr. and Mrs. Smith have worked from home, and gotten some promotions.
It’s cold and snowy.
What a day to be a gardener in Brindleton Bay!
I got frustrated with the 32-tile home and added a master and back porch as well as two fireplaces. There is one fireplace in the living room for the common space and one in the bedroom. I decide to make thing more difficult by forbidding the Smith family from having a thermostat. I was frustrated about heating in winter but also frustrated that a laptop would not snap to the kitchen table so they could not buy a computer. There is now a desk in the living room. The additional spaces are not yet complete. The porch has a washer and dryer, hamper, flower arranging table and space for an easel. This home is already 65 tiles, the last 35 tiles will need to be for future children.
I downloaded a greenhouse from the gallery set as a national park. To this build I added playground equipment and a basement gardening research center so that if winter gardening in Brindleton Bay gets a bit ridiculous there is some relief from visiting an indoor public garden.
Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Smith went to the spice festival. Mrs. Smith harvested some new plants. Mr. Smith made some interesting new friends. I forgot to get him to promote the cause.
The patio heater will work as space heater in the porch. Mrs. Smith made her first flower arrangement.
It’s Saturday morning. These two are very cute in their new living room. Mr. Smith is quickly going to promote the cause to Mrs. Smith before heading off to work.
Another week over with Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Its Sunday 741 am, breakfast time. Time to summarize then off the see the Jones family. Renovations are expensive and still incomplete. Household funds 599 simoleons.
Mrs. Smith: gardener 4, leaf-cutter. Mr. Smith: politician 4, community organizer.
Mrs. Smith: Charisma 2, Comedy 4, Cooking 4, Dancing 1, Fishing 5, Fitness 2, Flower Arranging 2, Gardening 5, Guitar 5, Handiness 1, Logic 1, Mischief 1, Photography 1, Singing 1, Video Gaming 1, Writing 1
Mr. Smith: Charisma 4, Comedy 3, Cooking 3, Fishing 2, Fitness 1, Gardening 1, Guitar 3, Handiness 1, Mischief 1, Singing 4, Video Gaming 1
Week 5, Winter - back to school, let’s try to do better this term
Mr. Jones has switched his major to physics at Britechester
Mrs. Jones has switched her major to history at Britechester
Mrs. Jones! This is not school attire and there’s a blizzard out there.
That was an intense school week. I didn’t even take pics. Both Mr. and Mrs. Jones took three courses Monday to Friday. It Is now Friday evening. The Smiths and the Joneses finally get a chance to relax.
Marks are in!
Mrs. Jones GPA A, 4 of 12 credits
Cultural Milestones and Movements A+
The Politics of Leadership A
Fitness and Shredded Proteins A+
Mr. Jones GPA B, 7 of 12 credits
Observing the Universe: Astrophysics I D+
Exploring the Universe: Astrophysics II A+
Robotics in Adverse Conditions B
Saturday morning Mr. & Mrs. Jones went to the gym. In the afternoon Mr. Jones did a couple odd jobs. Both have gone and collected posters and snow globes as much as possible this week. We were able to get a laptop.
It’s Sunday morning 738 am, time to head over to see the Smiths. Household funds $1454 simoleons. Tuition was paid by student loans.
ACE! Why a snow angel in the garden? The garden is money you know.
By Tuesday there is enough money to buy a computer. Unfortunately, somebody has already mashed bread into the keys.
There is a little bit of indoor space for living and doing but not much.
Mr. Smith is practicing his speech. He needs to increase charisma for his next promotion.
I brought Mrs. Smith to the public indoor garden in Magnolia Promenade to research plants and read about gardening so she can increase her gardening skill for her next promotion. Whoever built this greenhouse included many plants so there will be plenty more to research.
Its Wednesday and it’s Winterfest. The tree pretty much took up the entire living room so it did not last very long.
Mr. Smith cooked a grand tofurkey. Mr. and Mrs. Jones came for dinner and left just after Father Winter showed up. Microwaves and microscopes are great but not for a tiny house. I sold all their gifts except the chess table. Hopefully we can make room for the chess table in time.
Its Thursday after work and time to catch up on tasks. Mrs. Smith needs to make some flower arrangements. They are not very profitable. Hopefully as she gets better it will become worthwhile to do the flower arrangements.
I’m not sure why Nancy is blue. As long as she gives us a donation it doesn’t matter what colour she is. Mr. Smith succeeded in collecting 50 simoleans in donations to the cause.
And we are back home for a late dinner of leftovers and then off to bed. It has been freezing and snowing all week so far.
Friday night is Night on the Town and Spice Festival. This will be a good opportunity for Mr. Smith to get out and meet people and solicit more donations. Mrs. Smith might be able to get some new plants.
Nice try buttering up your brother in law Ace! Rocky is not interested in donating.
Let the networking begin!
Good job getting a few donations Ace.
week 6 continued . . .
It’s now Saturday afternoon. It’s New Year’s Eve.
Mrs. Jones has stopped by to see Mrs. Smith. Mrs. Smith is happy to visit with her sister. She made a flower arrangement worth 21 simoleons. The flower arranging progress is slow both in skill gain and profitability. Mr. Smith had the day off and I managed to stick him in front of the mirror to work on Charisma some.
Then, off to the club to celebrate!
SHA SHOOOOEEEE!
It’s Sunday morning 8:14 am. Spring has sprung in Bridleton Bay. It’s also Flower Bunny Day. Gardener and Politician both require some focus to progress and I feel like we are not progressing very fast. Household funds $7143 simoleons.
Week 7, Spring – More classes for Mr. Jones, Baby Rylie Jones
Sunday is getting ready for the week day. Mr. Jones has one term paper this term and he is getting started on that
It is Flower Bunny Day and Flea Market day also. I sent Mrs. Jones to get some furniture to flip at the Market. She ended up dancing with the Flower Bunny and talking with everybody. Mrs. Jones will sit out university classes this week because I don’t trust the game to handle a SIM in labour during a university class.
This is a full week of homework, classes and studying for Mr. Jones. Mrs. Jones has been taking care of the apartment thus raising her handiness skill, cleaning, collecting posters and snow globes and probably really wanting to not be pregnant anymore.
Sims is getting weird.
Its Thursday Evening. Mr. Jones is finishing up his studying and last bit of homework. Mrs. Jones has given birth to Rylie Jones. Once Rylie becomes a toddler the Jones family will be able to start earning points.
Look Rocky, your little baby Rylie. Friday morning and Mr. Jones is exhausted but he is still making little Rylie comfortable before crashing on the couch for a power nap right before his last two classes.
Leaving the frog and little Rylie to take care of each other, Mrs. Jones is heading out for a jog is the crisp morning air while Mr. Jones attends his last classes.
Yes Rocky, she’s beautiful! Now you have one more class, let’s go.
One more week of school complete.
Rocky: Electromagnetic Attractions A-, Series of Tubes: Advanced Fluid Dynamics A, Fitness and Shredded Proteins B+
What else goes on at night in an apartment in San Myshuno?
It’s Sunday Morning. Rocky Jones wants breakfast. I will go see the Smiths and he can start his day. Household Funds $2434 simoleons.
Mrs. Jones: Archeology 1, Charisma 6, Comedy 1, Cooking 3, DJ Mixing 1, Dancing 3, Fitness 6, Handiness 4, Logic 1, Mischief 1, Parenting 1, Research and Debate 6, Singing 1, Video Gaming 1, Wellness 1, Writing 1
So, I show up at the Smith’s Sunday morning and they are chilling at home as if they have nothing to do and nowhere to be. Suddenly Mrs. Smith quietly scuttles off to work a couple minutes late.
Mr. Smith autonomously cleans up the dishes, takes out the trash, and switches the laundry. Yeah buddy, I’m watching you.
Then it’s off to the local coffee shop Café for Eveana for some networking and fundraising. I see @FruUtter is here but she does not give Ace any money for the cause. Mr. Smith get his promotion requirement of 500 in donations and makes some friends.
Mrs. Smith comes to the coffee shop after work. She figures two can play at hustling and earns a pretty decent amount in tips.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith get home late and have a late dinner. It was a good day. Mr. Smith should get promoted tomorrow.
Mr. Smith starts his Monday morning serenading his wife.
Guys, you both have work today.
Mrs. Smith completed her work from home assignment of making a flower arrangement. She could not wait one minute longer so went over to see baby Riley. She gave her sister the flower arrangement as a gift. Riley is Auntie’s little sweetie.
Mrs. Smith then went to the public garden in Magnolia Promenade to research plants.
Mr. Smith went to work with all his requirements met but evaded getting promoted. Mrs. Smith had some special news for Mr. Smith that evening.
Both Mr. & Mrs. Smith have Tuesday off. They went to the park.
Mr. Smith came to schmooze and collect donations for the cause. This Sim is really not buying it.
Mrs. Smith fished up four cow plant berries and some fish to fertilize her garden. She also dug up a few simoleons worth of loot but no plants were ready to harvest. They had veggie burgers then headed home
Mr. Smith uses his day off on Wednesday to make friends and solicit donations for the cause over at the neighborhood coffee shop. Thursday and Friday, I got them to work on their career and aspiration objectives.
It’s Saturday night. I am determined that Mrs. Smith will have some tulips for her garden. She will loiter at the Cabin Fever Multiplex while the tulips spawn.
Success! Mrs. Smith was able to harvest some tulips to plant at home. It’s Sunday morning and time to head over to the Joneses. Unfortunately, I forgot to sign them up for school Saturday morning so classes will go until Monday. Household funds 11049 simoleons. The Smiths will be doing some significant renovations while I am over at the Joneses to accommodate their new baby.
Mrs. Smith: Floral Designer 7, Anther Artist
Mr. Smith went to work three times in a good mood with all requirements met and still managed to evade getting promoted. Mr. Smith: Charity Organizer 6, Fundraising Specialist

Week 9, Spring - Homestretch for Mr. Jones, meeting Dusty Smith
Sunday 8:14 am Mrs. Jones gets started on her first of two presentations. She has four classes this week. Mr. Jones only needs two more classes to graduate so he can only enroll in two classes. Unfortunately, I forgot to sign them up Saturday so it will be a Tuesday to Monday school week. We will need to figure out convocation timing also. This is the week that young Rylie is going to learn to like daycare.
Oh NO! I accidentally enrolled Mrs. Jones in art history instead of regular history. Joneses are not allowed to paint in this challenge. Mrs. Jones may end up in university for a very long time at this rate. My error so play on.
It’s Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jones have been hard at work getting ready for school. Mrs. Jones really has her hands full with four courses. They have been working away and taking short breaks for exercise.
It’s Tuesday evening now. Time and money are both pretty scarce. I have sent Mr. Jones to do an odd job and collect posters. Mrs. Jones still has homework and a term paper before she can sleep. Before any of that she needs to repair the computer. Busy, busy. Rylie is being very good.
A patio table is a big help for a Sim who loves the outdoors but has homework to do.
It’s Thursday evening. Mr. & Mrs. Jones have gone over to watch the season premiere of Llama Games with Mr. & Mrs. Smith. This week has been very intense with schoolwork but they are caught up. Friday was spent studying and attending class.
It’s Saturday. Mr. & Mrs. Jones have gone over to meet Dusty Smith who was born yesterday. Object Rylie was not able to come and meet her cousin.
Mr. & Mrs. Jones still have class on Monday so I will need to be over there to get them dressed and off to school. There will also be Convocation on Tuesday. I really want both families to have equal playtime to make the challenge between university education and tiny homes fair. I have to be more careful to get Mrs. Jones re-enrolment done on Saturday morning. I am curious since I accidentally switched her from History to Art History how many courses she will still need to graduate once she switches back to regular History.
Good Morning baby Rylie! It’s Daddy’s last day of class.
And Mommy’s last day of class for this term.
Mrs. Jones is cramming for her exam.
Ok you two, do well on your exams!
It’s Tuesday Morning. Congratulations Rocky! I see you’re very proud of yourself for getting a Physics degree.
So, what can a Sim do with a physics degree out in the ‘real’ World?
Scientist, Judge, Mechanical Engineer, Officer, Politician, Space Ranger.
Mr. Jones has really good rocket skill level but lives in a small apartment so daily task fly a rocket won’t work right now. Maybe he can be an astronaut later. He will join the workforce as an Officer.
Whatever normal in is this save file, let’s get back to normal. It’s Tuesday 1 pm. Household funds, 2536 simoleons. Mr. Jones student loan balance, 882 simoleons, Mrs. Jones student loan balance, $1493 simoleons.

Week 10, Summer – First of Summer Festival, 100-tile home so we have room for Dusty, plenty of rain and fire to go around
Does Mrs. Smith have the most fun out of everybody in this challenge?
It’s Sunday 8 am. Today is one of my special festivals called First of Summer.
First things first, it’s pouring rain but Mrs. Smith has harvestables to plant.
Everybody is at the beach for a bonfire.
Mrs. Smith is taking advantage of a break in the weather to grill some fruit.
The perfect ending to a perfect day.
This is now a one hundred tile home, in the dark, in the rain. I’ll be back after convocation to resume the Smith’s week.
It’s Tuesday 1:23 pm during the Smith’s week. Ace Smith, you Sir, are struggling as a Fundraiser. Have you plateaued? Have you stopped caring because you would rather be playing your guitar? I am firing you from the politician career. Look at that unassuming little face. Ace knows everybody, everybody knows Ace. Hopefully he will do well as a secret agent. No one would ever suspect, it’s like hiding in plain site. First, he has six days vacation to use up.
Mrs. Smith managed to plant the tulips she collected despite falling on her back a couple times by slipping in the mud puddles. It rained all day.
Wednesday is autonomy day? Mr. & Mrs. Smith have cancelled out their cue and done whatever they want all morning. A new washer and dryer will cost about half of their money.
Mrs. Smith’s work from home assignment is to make a flower arrangement and give it as a gift.
Four O’clock in the afternoon. . . Mrs. Smith is finally ready to head out and gift the flower arrangement.
“Hyacinth, I brought you something.”
“Daisies! Thanks Daisy!”
Mrs. Smith makes one final flower arrangement before bed. It’s taking a long time for her to get good at flower arranging.
Thursday’s work assignment for Mrs. Smith is to harvest flowers. Willow Creek is not looking very promising. Mr. Smith is taking a vacation day to take care of Dusty and do a few things around the house.
Not Yet. Mrs. Smith can view the Lilly but can’t harvest yet.
Sometimes becoming a great gardener requires sacrifice and dedication.
Friday 8:30 am.” Hi Ace. Everything is good. I slept on a park bench last night waiting for lilies and bluebells to spawn, I will come home later today. “
Mrs. Smith’s work assignment for Friday is to gift some produce from her garden. She gave her new friend a carrot. Maybe this SIM doesn’t like carrots. She did not like the gift.
Mrs. Smith made it home in the afternoon. She is planting lilies, bluebells, cowplants and basil.
Oh, Hi Mrs. Jones
Mr. Smith went off to work Friday while Mrs. Smith was out looking for flowers. Don’t smile or anything Ace, you got promoted! Maybe he is miserable as a charity organizer.
“Sorry buddy, Mr. & Mrs. Smith are completely tuckered out, they were in bed by 730 pm. I’m just going to finish watching my show, tidy up a little bit and then head home.”
I did not realize SIMs could plant harvestables outside their lot.
Who’s the cutest little boy in the middle of the night?
It’s Saturday Morning, Mrs. Smith if off to work. There is no catching a break from the rain this summer.
Mr. Smith is up to his usual, talking to everybody and collecting donations
This little puppy is outside in a thunderstorm. Mr. Smith takes him back inside.
Then completes his work assignment of discussing neighborhood changes with two neighbors.
Mrs. Smith’s sopping wet garden is finally starting to make some real money.
Sunday 8:34 am. Household funds 6976 simoleons. A big portion of that came from the garden and promotion bonuses.

Week 11, Summer – Mr. Jones: Life in the Military, Mrs. Jones: More classes and what a Gong Show! Mrs. Jones gets put on academic probation. No more needs TLC apartment, the Joneses move to the arts district.
Sunday 8:36 am, Mr. & Mrs. Jones are enjoying a quiet morning at home. Mrs. Jones only has credit for three courses. It was a costly mistake to accidentally enroll her in art history instead of history. This term she has two term papers and one presentation.
Despite a mountain of classwork, I let Mrs. Jones out for some exercise and fresh air.
The bot is not interested in taking orders from Mr. Jones. He is not allowed to practice ordering Mrs. Jones around, that would never do.
Mr. Jones needs to raise his Charisma by two points for his next promotion.
By late afternoon, Mrs. Jones is working on her project. Mr. Jones is going to be the baby care go-to-guy, the cook, the repairman and whatever else this week so Mrs. Jones can focus on school.
Hyacinthe and Daisy Rose are having breakfast Monday morning before class
Monday after work Mr. Jones has Rylie to take care of, laundry to do and food to be made to keep the fridge stocked. Everything seems to be breaking.
Mr. Jones minimum student loan payment is 52 simoleons. He paid 100 simoleons on Monday. Tuesday evening the repo-SIM came. I can’t figure out what she took or why Mr. Jones was delinquent in his loan payment.
By Tuesday we are already juggling priorities. Poor Mrs. Jones, so much to do to keep up with school. She has not written her term papers yet.
Wednesday is pretty much the same, schoolwork to be done but so many distractions and competing priorities. Yes, Mrs. Jones is kick boxing in a skirt.
Mrs. Jones scrambled to finish her term-papers and final exams Thursday and Friday but was unable to submit one of the papers by 6 pm Friday. It was a rough week for school.

Mrs. Jones is now on academic probation! She has credit for 6 courses.
This little apartment in the Spice District is stressing out Mr.& Mrs. Jones. The pipes, panel, rodents, bugs and bad smell seem to all go off at once or in rapid succession. Mr.& Mrs. Jones are constantly tense and don’t have time to be constantly fixing things. I may be shooting myself in the foot in terms of them saving money but the quirks of this place are getting to be a bit much.
Saturday is moving day. Everything was brought over from the old apartment. There is now space for a third bedroom and an en-suite. No balcony though. Both Mr. & Mrs. Jones love the outdoors so we will see how that goes.
Mr. & Mrs. Jones are having a good weekend at home in their new apartment.
Mr. Jones finishes getting his charisma to level 6.
Welcome, welcome. . .

Week 12, Summer – Heatwave! Rogue cowplant, alien abduction . . . nothing to see here.
Sunday 4:37 pm. I accidentally left my game un-paused while photographing a build in this file which is unfair to the Smith family. I want both families to have equal gameplay time.
Mrs. Smith needs to improve her gardening and flower arranging by one each to be promoted. Her garden is starting to have more flowers she can use in her arrangements.
Monday is rebate day. I had Mrs. Smith buy a second toddler bed, a tent, cooler and tarp shower in case she wants to go chasing plants again.
Mrs. Jones came by Tuesday and spent some time with Dusty.
Got to watch those weeds! They are bad for killing plants.
It’s Wednesday. Mr. Smith only works Friday, Saturday, Sunday so is around most of the week. I sent Mr. Smith fishing so hopefully Mrs. Smith could fertilize her garden with the fish. Instead, he decided to befriend a stray dog.
The cowplant that escaped is now permanent because he grew outside of the lot so cannot be sold. I’m watching you cake tongue! Do not eat my challenge SIMs!
It’s Thursday 6:20 pm. Mrs. Smith has finally succeeded in scenting a floral arrangement. Hopefully she will get promoted tomorrow.
Friday morning, problem solved! This runaway cowplant will not be eating any of my SIMs.
Friday evening Mr. &Mrs. Smith met up with Mr. & Mrs. Jones in the spice district for night on the town.
Saturday Morning. I have sent Mrs. Smith off to work. Thank you, Ace, for helping with the weeds. They are really bad for killing plants
Every chance he gets, Mr. Smith will autonomously go dote on Dusty. Their friendship is maxed. He got his work from home tasks done without having to run off to San Myshuno today.
I didn’t realize Mr. Smith likes gardening so much. There is plenty of it to do!
Mrs. Jones gave birth to a baby boy only a couple hours ago. She is already out visiting.
Saturday 11:30 pm, Mr. Smith gets abducted. Mrs. Smith is oblivious to this; she is fast asleep.
And just like that, we are back to Autumn. In my game I have the three-week seasons. We have completed one arbitrary ‘year’.

Week 13, Autumn – Two little ones, three classes, fight!
Hello Miss Rylie! You don’t look super happy.
Little Ricky smiling away, on top of the world.
Quite literally on top of the world!
Hyacinth, today you will do your presentation and your term paper! We can’t have a repeat of last time or you will be thrown out of school.
Rocky, chess is great but we need a little girl with potty 2 and thinking 2 so she can use the washroom and sleep all night.
Everybody ready? Set, GO!
Mrs. Jones, who loves the outdoors, finished her outstanding presentation Sunday as well as Monday’s homework, but snuck off to bed at night before doing her term paper. Mr. Jones kept control of the children.
Mr. Jones did a quick workout after everyone else was asleep.
‘Everyone asleep’ was short lived due to noisy neighbours. One very unimpressed Riley has been woken up. She is off to wake up her mom.
Finally, the Joneses are sorted out with the neighbours and everybody can sleep.
Monday, the first Monday of autumn, is one of my holidays I made up for this game file called: Day off. The Jones family are off to Sulani to relax and enjoy the afternoon and evening at the beach. I sent Mrs. Jones to her class because I don’t trust university game mechanics.
Mr. Jones put Riley to bed late and cleaned up around the house before getting to bed himself.
Mrs. Jones got her term paper submitted Tuesday evening after attending her classes and taking care of the kids between classes. She then got in a quick workout and went to bed.
Mr. &Mrs. Jones have collected all the posters and snow globes!
Miss Rylie! Keep your clothes on! Mommy has enough to do without having to deal with your nonsense.
Mrs. Jones has much homework and many things to study. Rylie has many things to discuss with her mom.
Oh Rylie! You are determined to keep mommy from studying.
Thank you Rocky! Mr. Jones came home from work Thursday evening and got everything sorted.
It’s Friday morning. Mrs. Jones has her last exam in a couple hours. All homework is complete and she did manage to study yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Jones is explaining to Rylie about manners and saying sorry for streaking out into the lobby.
It’s now Friday afternoon. Mrs. Jones has written her last exam. It’s time to head out to the park.
Marks are in: Constitutions (and other Founding Documents) C, The Expansion of Rights B+, Evidence in Debate Prep D+ term GPA C+ GPA C-
I was really hoping for better. Every bit of homework and every minute of class matter. We need to be so careful.
Friday night workout. Better luck next term Hyacinth. Only three more courses to go.
It’s Saturday morning, time to get out of the house.
“Hello Dusty, you’ve gotten so big since the last time we saw you!”
Riley, NOOOOOO! Rocky, you’re right there, never mind Ace, grab her!
“My mommy and daddy said we have to go now.”
Riley and Ricky are fast asleep but not for long. Noisy neighbours again!
Mrs. Jones has had about as much as she can take of her babies being woken up during the night.
The Jones family have some money so I decided to finish the en-suite.
This brings us back to Sunday 7:56 am. This family is so busy time flies by. Household funds 7203 simoleons, Mr. Jones has paid his student loan. Mrs. Jones student loan 1724 simoleons.

Oh NO! I accidentally left my game unpaused, there was a big fire
Sunday morning, Mrs. Smith has gone to work. Ok little Dusty, time to learn about basic needs and movement so you can get up and down stairs.
Mr. Smith’s alien pregnancy seems to be going well. Mrs. Smith is trying to be encouraging.
I have Harvest Fest set as the second Monday of autumn. Riley seems to be enjoying her tofurky and the company of her cousin Dusty.
A baby and a toddler sharing a room is very difficult, the baby cries, the toddler wakes up angry and there goes anybody sleeping through the night.
Tuesday, Mrs. Jones humored Mr. Smith with a 25 simoleon donation so he could meet his work objective before his next shift.
Mrs. Smith needs to make flower arrangements each day. The arrangements are starting to be more profitable because she has quite a few flowers stocked up. Each arrangement seems to bring the skill up by about 10%. Progress is slow.
It’s Wednesday evening. Mr. Smith has a lot going on so he is going to stay home with Dusty and Clay. Mrs. Smith is heading out on an expedition to Newcrest for some fall flowers.
Mrs. Smith will be camping at a national park in Newcrest while waiting for the roses to spawn.
She seems to be enjoying the me time. Mrs. Smith was able to harvest some onions, snapdragons and roses.
It’s Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Smith is back home. Dusty is very happy to see Mommy.
Mrs. Smith is adding roses, snapdragons and onions to her garden.
It’s Friday evening. Mr. smith looks pretty sullen, he could sure use a friend. Mr. Jones has stopped by.
“Whoa! I don’t know what to say dude”
Mr. Jones then read a story for Dusty before heading home.
Saturday evening Clay aged up to toddler.
Not much later, Mr. Smith gave birth to Skye Smith. I was hoping the Smiths would space out their family due to not having much room for more beds. Instead, they had three babies almost one on top of the other. I may need cc bunk beds.
I put Skye with her parents so she would not cry at night and wake her brothers. Dusty and Clay are sharing the room upstairs.
Finally, everyone is sleeping except Clay.
And just like that we are back to Sunday morning. It goes quick! Clay and Dusty are on the couch eating spinach wrapped veggie burritos. There is no room for high chairs in this small home Mrs. Smith has just harvested her garden. Mrs. Smith has the ‘New Baby!’ happy moodlet. She is just as thrilled about Skye as Mr. Smith

Week 15, Autumn – Cleaning and upgrading after the fire, Candy Exchange, Mrs. Jones graduates.
Hello Rylie and Ricky!
Mrs. Jones has one presentation and two final exams this term. Hopefully it will all go well.
Always things going on with the Joneses! Ricky is playing dolls in his room.
Yeah! Mr. Jones has high enough handiness skill to upgrade the washer and dryer. To me this is a big deal since they break so often.
We’re back to Riley talking to Mommy who is doing homework.
Monday evening, new plan. Run all over with Mrs. Jones so she can do her homework and take care of her needs unimpeded by toddlers.
Tuesday. Dear, dear, Riley, the things you do when Mommy is doing homework.
Tuesday evening, Mrs. Jones is all caught up on homework so she is attending a guest lecture.
A late snack on campus
Oh neighbours!
***Rylie has achieved Top-Notch Toddler +2points! Jones family are first on the scoreboard.
Wednesday afternoon. Better to be on campus between classes. I wonder if getting to class from home is causing poor marks from being late.
It’s Thursday afternoon, Mrs. Smith is studying for her two exams tomorrow. I don’t think she has been in the library since week one when she was here with Maverick, the original Mr. Jones. They were getting their research and debate to level three before starting university.
Mrs. Jones is all done school! This is cause for celebration!

Week 16, Winter – New 10x10 box house, Skye ages up to toddler
It’s Sunday afternoon. It has not yet snowed. Mr. Smith and Mr. Jones took all the toddlers to the park to play.
Skye is going to age up to toddler. This bedroom will not work for three toddlers let along children. I packed up everything into inventory and replaced the house.
Bye bye cute little house
Replaced by a rather ugly utilitarian 10 x 10 box
I managed to jam in: 3 bedrooms, 1 + ½ baths, kitchen and open living space. I reused as much as possible.
This week has been mostly taking care of three little Sims and building the flower arranging skill as well as keeping up with repairs and cleaning. It was nice for Daisy Rose to spend some time with her sister Hyacinth Tuesday afternoon.
Wednesday, it’s the first fire in the new house that is not even 48 hours old. Forbidding the Smiths from having a thermostat poses some interesting challenges.
Wednesday, the boys are outside playing in the snow. Dusty has maxed all his toddler skills. Two points for the Smith family!
It’s Wednesday evening, this is the first chance Mr. Smith has had to get out and collect donations for the cause. As the little ones get older it should become easier for him to get out and talk to other Sims.
Mr. Smith enjoying their new kitchen
On Thursday Dusty invited a fried over after playschool.
Late Thursday evening while nobody was paying attention Skye leapt out of her bassinet. Now there are three toddlers.
Mr. Smith autonomously decided to get her started on the thinking skill right away.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith spent Friday and Saturday taking turns working and teaching/bathing/taking care of the three toddlers.
Saturday afternoon I turned them all to play (in a blizzard).
Mr. Smith is teaching Dusty about saying sorry. These are the only two awake right now so I’m going to tip toe out.

More to come . . .I have up to week six to post

Mrs. Jones: Archaeology 1, Charisma 5, Comedy 1, Cooking 2, Dancing 2, Fitness 5, Handiness 3, Logic 1, Mischief 1, Research and Debate 6, Singing 1, Video Gaming 1, Writing 1

Mrs. Smith: gardener 6, floral designer, stem cutter
Mr. Smith: politician 6, charity organizer, fundraising specialist
Mrs. Smith: Charisma 2, Comedy 4, Cooking 5, Dancing 1, Fishing 5, Fitness 3, Flower Arranging 3, Gardening 6, Guitar 5, Handiness 2, Logic 1, Mischief 1, Parenting 1 (how?), Photography 1, Singing 1, Video Gaming 1, Writing 1
Mr. Smith: Charisma 6, Comedy 3, Cooking 4, Dancing 1, Fishing 2, Fitness 2, Gardening 1, Guitar 3, Handiness 1, Mischief 1, Singing 4, Video Gaming 1

Smith
