    What's with Origin/the game today?

    I went to play my game and I found that I can't. My game goes to the load screen and freezes. I can't do control-alt-delete to get to the task manager and close the game. I have to restart my computer.

    I looked here in the forum and the only thing I found said to close out origin and restart it which is supposed to activate an update. I did that and no update came up. I have auto updates turned on.
    I even logged out and logged back in and still nothing but the origin home page and my game freezing on the load screen.

    I have windows 8.1
    Please help me with this.

      I had no issues. When I signed in to origin, there was an origin update which I did. (I don't have auto-updates for Origin) Once that was done, I signed in and was able to play with no problems. I am in game and playing.

      Not sure why you are having troubles.

      As fullspiral said, Origin App was updated today, again.
      Try that and rerun the game.
