It’s most likely a mod. Exit the game without saving and pull your mods folder, then reload the game and see if your sim can go home. If so you will have to find the offending mod using the 50/50 method. The patch broke a lot of mods, once you locate the offender you will need to visit the creator’s site and see if there’s an update available.
I got rid of my mods , only re downloaded the updated version of Mc commander mod . I think I’m going to have to move her. See if I can go home after I go somewhere
can someone help me please? Everytime i try to place my build CC it says failed to compute cost. I know I can probably just repair the game in origin but the last time I did that it took all my cc away and I had to put it all back. I basically had to make my whole house over again and all my sims clothes all over again. Did I do something wrong? or does this always happen when you repair your game?
Repairing your game didn’t take away your cc, but if you removed your Mods folder entered the game to test for an issue and then saved upon exiting that is likely what caused your cc to disappear or if you didn’t save your previous cfg (configuration) file from your original mods folder. That can also cause cc to disappear from your save file.
As for your placement issues they may be caused by cc that needs to be updated for this newest patch. Bathroom cc is reportedly the source of several issues right now. You will need to pull the cc that’s throwing errors and visit the site you downloaded it from and see if the creator has updated their files. If not you may want to leave them a message alerting them to the problem you’re having if you can.
As well as baths and showers, custom beds are also causing problems in game. All these need to be removed until there is a fix.
Do you know if this is including toddler beds too?
I don't know for sure. I have removed mine though. I haven't actually played the game since updating as I am still waiting for some mods to be fixed still.
If you want to check you can test by putting them into the game by themselves. You probably already know this, but be careful not to save your game without your other CC in it. Otherwise you may get bald, naked Sims and missing furniture.
Just reading that the bed problem may have been a mod conflict. Hopefully that is it and the CC beds aren't affected themselves. Sorry if that was a false alarm!
@telemwill Beds seem to function fine, as far as I can tell. Yeah, don't worry, I know the drill. I used to mod for Sims 3 when it was still being patched Thanks for letting me know
Hi everyone! So I’m looking to get a new PC any suggestions? I want to be able to play on ultra graphic settings while everything runs smooth without killing my computer. Does anyone know if this will be good?
@Lizzy1223 It good. I don't have that pc but I have soon enough info from tech tubers to say it great deal for non builders. If you mean 1080p ultra it be good.
