How do you/Is it possible to change the size of a lot after placing it?

Hello. So pretty much I've spent the last five hours building a world, now that finals are finished with. 
It works so smoothly and is very easy to use. However, I cannot find a way to change the size of a lot after placing it down. I've made a lot that is 22x50, which is too big for my plans. Is there a way to make the size smaller? I know I'll make this mistake again without noticing, so the "undo" button is not exactly what I need.
Also.. This is beyond the question.. but is there a "sledgehammer" tool? That would be sooo helpful!

very very basic.
Yeah. I thought they said the tool was not user friendly?! I have no computer experience, yet it only took me fifteen minutes with the tool to feel completely comfortable with using it.
hopefully it gets better with updates.
