Reminds me of the horses in Sims 3 if you didn't chose a specific tail for them. Hmm, it looks better in CAS than in-game. Is that what squeaky clean looks like?

I have no pet related CC in game I also disabled all my mods and it was the same story. I had a look around and it seems to be a mac only issue related to retina screens and the pets wearing accessories, altho it was supposed to be fixed this month and the thread was closed on answers HQ. I made a new thread there but no responses yet.
it happened after I installed spa day
I've tried:
- exiting and restarting the game
- removing all mods
- turning on my retina screen in the sims (as I usually play with it off)
- resetting the dog
- rolling back the save
- repairing the game
I'll just have to wait and hope either somebody else has an idea, or I can figure it out myself!
It's some issue with the specular map, probably of the collar. Had the same problem with a cat collar until they fixed it after some months. 😕 I play on a Mac as well.

the stupid thing is though is that only EA accessories are affected. when I use a custom content collar or pet accessory, the issue isn't there. so its definitely something on EA's end. my sims also seem to go shiny every now and again also, which is odd but its only for a moment.
I've done everything listed above and even with all my mods taken out and disabled, the issue persists with EA collars only, however custom content collars are fine.

I hope you manage to get it fixed.

...I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I came across an NPC who looked like they rolled in oil?
I am certain it is something to with the update - as never came across this before until now!
