Sims 4 base game is free (until May 28)

For anyone that hasn't seen it, Origin is offering TS4, base game only, for free right now, until May 28 at 10 am PDT. This is only for Windows/macOS, not console. Here's EA_Mai's announcement on the subject:

I got it for free and the bought one GamePack for 20 euros just to flesh it out a bit. Never thought I'd say this, but the Sims 4 is actually kind of fun. TS3 is still awesome though :) I personally find them very different experiences so comparing doesn't seem useful.

Just to clarify, you obtained TS4 by way of the free offer that this thread is about where according to your posting history you already had TS4 installed and were playing it? Or is that not really what you meant?
