Hello all! Just wanted to start a post about my story, Futility In Survival!
Quin Slater’s lived on her own since she was just 13, wanting to stay as far away from her corrupt parents as possible. Though she does her best to avoid her parents, they’ve used her as a tool for their criminal business since she was just a child, and have no plans to stop anytime soon. Living a life of isolation due to her distrustful nature, she’s shocked when a stranger shows up at her door, a stranger who further complicates her life. But complication isn’t always a bad thing, is it?
This drama stars my sim Quin Slater, her criminal parents Thomas and Silvia, EA's Lily and Victor Feng, @RoryPlaysTheSims 's wonderful Tony Corleonesi and Vincent Salvator (though I do think I used @Maladi777 's version of Tony), plus a handful of background sims that no one really cares about.
Originally, this story was going in a totally different direction, then Tony showed up, moved himself in, and refused to leave. #sorrynotsorry

Their Italian heritage, and love for beautiful woman?
I think they just have a lot of respect for each other. They've known each other for so long, and just get each other. They may not always agree with each other, they may argue, but when it comes down to it, they've got each other's back.
That's how I picture them, at least.

I unfortunately had to take a long break from writing due to some family/mental health issues, but things are much better now, and I hope to get into the swing of consistent updates again!
