Possible Styles Within Eco-Living

The gurus have said we shouldn't try to box ourselves in with a narrow thinking of what Eco could contain. So let's discuss styles:

Rustic, living off the land
Nature-based
Futuristic home technology that conserves resources
More homeless/hardship play options

What others could you see possibly being the focal point?

Negative consequences for excessive flushing of the toilet. If it's yellow, let it mellow. :)
Timed showers with the water turning cold if you exceed the limit.

yurts. caravans. Other options for living other than houses. Treehouses, hobbithole-under-the-ground houses, that kind of thing, but I think it would all be too much on the programming side of thing.

I'd like to see more indoor plants, a water well source, and outhouse. But I think I'm going more into rugged or rustic living rather than eco.

Eco is just a very non-descript theme. We're not necessarily bound to a strict definition. Your ideas could easily fit into a pack like this.

I just wanna say I did not like that TS3 Future Pack with the robots and space age type cars and furniture. So as long as we don't go THAT route, I think I'm pretty open.

By futuristic, I was meaning more green technology - more closely aligned to how Eco-Living is becoming. The innovative side bringing technology and nature together.

I don't want too futuristic style either, anything else goes. Green technology somewhat interests me, but I'm not sure how big part that would be of the pack (gameplay wise) and if something else turns out to be even cooler. I think I need to see some pictures to be more specific about what style I like.
