Sims adventure VR thing glitched

I played the action adventure on the VR headset on sims that occasionally gives options and when I stopped the options don't stop popping up, I tried logging out, xing the game out, exiting what I was doing, sleeping, choosing to do action adventure, choosing SciFi adventure and waiting for a menu to pop up, and the menu won't stop popping up.

Without mods, try this:
Retreat to Edit Town. Evict your household to the side of the map, copy their uninhabited lot down to the bin, bulldoze the original, replace it with a copy, and move your household back in without having left the screen. That should be enough of a reset to break into the stuck scenario that is still running.
