    What are some must-have mods?
    Could you live without mods or custom content (cc)?

      I could almost live without mods.

      My must-have:
      Either No More Relationship Culling or MC Command Center. I use the latter because it's nice to be able to tweak some of the other stuff it can do - flagging individual NPCs "do not cull," turning ghost night off, etc.

      Everything else is a nice-to-have.

      Like luthienrising said, the no cull mod is a must, a couple of naughty mods, no mosaic and anatomically correct mods because I'm not a kid, luminallover's body hair for guys, insect spawners for my herbalists (I can never find them in GF) and the oddest thing, a tinkle rug (cc) for the bathroom is always included in every house I build/decorate.

      I miss MC Command Ctr...I took it out because I was having a terrible jump bug issue and I read on here that taking MC out will cure it, but I still miss it.
      In my house, dog hair sticks to everything but the dog.

      No mosaic, MCCC, insect spawners, more sims per club and UI Cheats are the ones I feel I NEED to have in my game.

      What? Tell me more. MC's had a few MINOR issues with Dine Out, but nothing has melted.

      I'd love a link to that thread. Taking MC out causes WAY more issues than it "fixes," IMO. Seriously. (Who said that??????)

      I absolutely will NOT play this game without MC. If you see me around, assume it's working. Or I'm beating on it with a stick, in which case Deaderpool will get it working pretty quick. LOL!!

      But if it's available, I'll play. Otherwise, I'd be Sims2-bound.

      Known issue with 2.11.0 regarding aging... something in what EA changed borked his No Age flag AND his

      "Pregnancy_AgeWhenPregnant": true,

      config file setting. VERY annoying to a neurotic player who squeezes minutes, to log in and see elders at 69/71 days when they were at 6/71 before the patch. Fixable, but scared me pretty bad till I figured out what was going on. Basically, enable all aging and don't interfere with it at all (in this You Rule game...), and he's going to fix that in the next version. (No ETA yet.)

      Jump bug isn't MC's. It's EA's. MC has a fix for it, which was built in but is now OPTIONAL, you can try it both ways to see if it helps book reset issues... if that's what you were talking about. If not, gimme more? :)

      For me as a builder the must have mods are: real grass and clouds textures, real lighting.

      Ticket booth. And option to sell retail in the restaurants I would be happy and quiet for some time if there were only some way to have these two things

      For those who are interested, there's a new mod by coolspear1 at MTS named “doctor career reimagined”.
      It’s not only a mod, is a new stile of playng game… it's amazing.

      The same author has "scientist's career reimagined” but also the" "Retired Scientist Reimagined"
      Second mod allows you to do at home all you can do in a scientific laboratory (without have scientist career)

      Ones that improve gameplay for me DRASTICALLY:
      • Scumbumbo's Always Start Lots Paused
      • Neia's No More Same Sims Everywhere
      • Shimrod's Improved Lighting & Less Musical Chairs
      • Fogity's Hidden Highlight (for when you hover over anything... recently tried playing without it and found it really annoying)
      • Plasticbox's Clutter/Electronics Anywhere
      • AOM's More Slots mods for counters, cabinets, fridge, microwave, etc.

      As for CAS:
      • Default skin & eye replacements... there are a ton of great ones to choose from that make sims just way nicer to look at
      • Kijiko's 3D Lashes (EA's blocky eyelashes just look terrible to me)
      • Less prominent blushes
