I cant see through windows and my sims is never playable

Hello simmers,
I have 2 bugs in my game the first one and the most frustrating one is my sim is at home but it says that he's still at work which makes him not playable! I tried the " leave work early " thing and it didnt work i tried taking him to a different lot and it still didnt work i also reset him but nope nothing at all -.-
Now the second bug is in my dang windows .. Seriously .. They look freakn disgusting as if someone sprayed some gray paint on them .. Not that it matters too much but hey .. I take screenshots and that doesnt look good with them nasty windows...
Any help p-alease xD
