    Do stray animals despawn?

    I'm trying to befriend a stray cat.. and was wondering if it will disappear once it leaves my sim's house?

    Also, what happens if there are say 5 stray cats in the world, and I use Nraas animal control to set a limit of 2? Will 3 of them disappear?

      They despawn. They usually walk off and disappear somewhere. The same ones also spawn again though.

      As for the Nraas animal control, I don't know.
