Is Sims 2 UC restricted to one graphics resolution setting?

I am using a Nvidia GTX 770 card and I only have one resolution setting of 800x600. I got the game to recognize the card but can't choose the resolution I want to play Sims 2 in.

You have to edit your Graphics Rules.sgr file. Also make a backup before you change anything.
