    External Hard Drive

    hiiii!

    so my mac has finally started to run more slowly (cry cry) and since I put everything on my external hard drive I was wondering if I could delete my CC and other things from my downloads file on finder and still have them in my game since they're all on my external drive anyways. would this cause any problems since it's on an external drive and not an internal one? i just want to free up some space on my computer when the drive isn't connected.

      As soon as you've installed something through the launcher, it's no longer necessary for playing the game to keep the original item (be it store content or third party CC) in ../Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Downloads. You can safely take it out; just make sure to keep a copy on your external drive in case anything goes awry the 'normal' way.
