    SOLUTION FOUND THANKS TO
    @maextra7
    After enabling testing cheats type
    money (enter amount)
    to set the household amount to (amount entered)
    HOW TO ENABLE TESTING CHEATS
    1) CTRL+SHIFT+C
    2) type "testingcheats true" and hit enter

      sims.modify_funds +[enter amount]

      family funds would be so much more simple than:sims.modify_funds +[enter amount]
      Also do you enter that in the cheat console?
      If yes I will add the solution to title

      Easier to remember!

      Do u have to get out of testing chests.... Or does it automatically go back to normal after u save and leave a game?

      You need to have testing cheats active (testingcheats true) and then you can type in money 456792 and you'll have 456792 simoleons. You can use any amount and the amount you use will be the full value the household has.

      If you nip out to CAS or change lots it turns testing cheats off, so you might need to turn it back on to use the cheat. Hope that helps!
