    No Fire Department?

    Not sure if this is a bug or just the game, but what's the point of the alarm, if nobody shows up to take care of the fire? My sim just died from making grilled cheese.....

      sorry there are no firefighters i use the sprinklers

      Well that's just dumb... that's something so basic in all the other games. I hope there will be a patch adding them.

      This was a let down for me.. Sometimes my sims refuse to put out fires and I forget to install a sprinkler system. It's silly they don't have NPCs to come do it for you even if there's not an actual building.

      One of my earliest lessons from Sims 1: make sure every home has a smoke detector. In Sims 4 you apparently need to have both the smoke detector and the sprinkler box, but I just check houses out of habit. Sometimes I still find myself looking for the burglar alarm to install, but hey, no burglars, so ...
