Ok so this discussion is one I've seen in game forums with frequent updates rather commonly. I'll most likely update this overtime, but if there's anything you want me to add or anything you think I've missed please let me know! I hope this becomes useful to someone.
For me, I would like a patch that tweaks the AI of emotions and reactions a bit better. Not sure how to word that better....
For example, my sim parents would just play on their phones/tablets/computers, even when a baby is crying its poor lungs out in the same room. (And it happened more than once, to the point of the social worker threatening to take it away..). When the baby was first brought in, nobody cared. The kids continued talking and playing on the computer. If I hadn't forced them to interact with the baby, they probably wouldn't have noticed his existence, lol....
Did the new Feb. patch fix anything regarding reactions and emotions AI? I'm thinking of reinstalling the game after the patch, and especially since the announcement of the interesting new careers/OFB expansion pack....
You forgot to add Justine Keaton and Dracula/Zeus/Owen Shaw/Bard the Bowman/Luke Evans/his character from The Raven/his character from No One Lives Apollo to your list:
I would point out the upcoming expansion for "more common careers" but... Medicine is not a common career choice.
Uhr. People without degrees being doctors. Brb whilst I die of Sim flu.
Things I would like in the base game and sorry some are on your list:
1) Toddlers
2) Non-object babies
3) Terrain tool
4) Water tool
5) Newspaper
6) Land-line telephone
7) Dishwashers
8) Hot tubs
9) Carpools or school buses
10) More NPCs
11) Sims reacting to major life events
12) Being able to change the color of the UI and not having headache inducing neighborhood map and loading screens
13) Real emotions even if they were considered an "illusion" in the past Sims games
14) Less linear game play
15) More accidental deaths
16) Create a world
17) Ability to visit neighbors in same district
18) More color and pattern options especially white and ombre hair colors
19) Sims that like to touch each other more especially wanting to cuddle in bed
20) Technophobe trait
Thank you for making this thread to summarize our current requests.
“Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it.” –Helen Keller
As a priority emotions that work as emotions not tools, some kind of decent story progression and more bugfixes. Something for our sims to do would also be nice, even a pool table in a bar would help.

wow I totally forgot about Carpools or school buses...
they don't have to make an open world we just need cars\bus to pick us up and not disappear
Create-A-Style
(Possible Create-A-Style type gameplay feature may be included in the upcoming Get To Work Expansion Pack)
Return Of Justine Keaton
@DextroyerX2 You need to update there's no CASt in GTW.
Also please remove justine Keaton from the list, it's ofensive and it was a request made by a obvious troll, we need to make a serious list.
Edit: Sorry it was not made by Colton, but still...

Also, laying down romantic interactions, talking while fishing, and a better leadup to woohoo than a cheer.
I wonder if this is a bug, especially when you rotate households.
Was there supposed to be some kind of weird story progression or not?
Have the gurus addressed this issue in any of the Q&A sessions or interviews, etc?

Uhr. People without degrees being doctors. Brb whilst I die of Sim flu.
In sims, parent doesn't raise toddler, toddler raises parent.
((I actually don't know where I am going with that.))
If Toddlers were in the game it would've made sense since there was a glitch where children and teenagers could be the parents of adults lol

This has been stickied at the top of the ideas section for awhile now. Worth browsing through. Lots of good ideas.
