    Downloading the free town Riverview.

    I tried downloading Riverview and I keep getting the same error message. The error message is error in connection, but there is no error on my side of the connection. It should automatically download once the button is clicked. Is anyone else having this problem, and how can it be fixed?

      I can't even figure out how to download Riverview

      I am having the same problem. I click on the download link and my sims 3 launcher pops up , but no download is there. It doesn't even show that I have even tried to download anything at all. I have downloaded a light that I purchased from the sims3 store and a car, they both show up in the game, but also did not show up as a download in the sims 3 launcher. Any help would really be great. Thanks. :roll:

      I'm can't even get to the download stage to get an error. The Riverview page is here: http://store.thesims3.com/riverview.html or here: http://store.thesims3.com/riverview.html?intcmp=eaint101 and when I click the Add to Game button, all it does it take me to the aforementioned links, but now with a # sign at the end i.e. http://store.thesims3.com/riverview.html?intcmp=eaint101#, and I get a "error on page" message down in the bottom of the browser. Halp! Thanks!

      I to am having the exact same problem trying to download Riverview. When I try to download the launch window comes up and that's it. When I go back to it, it says "download again". I hit that about 3 times but still kept getting the same results. Hopefully by the time I get home someone will post what we need to do to get that feature in our game. Other than that I am not having any other problems and I'M LOVING THE GAME...TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Thanks EA. :lol:

      I get mine in the downloader and it comes out with an error message at the end saying failed to download, I just dont get it?

      I can't download the town or the car they both show up as a package on my launcher with a big red circle saying it is queued for download and then nothing happens..no town and no car.I am afraid to purchase anything from the store in case this happens again.what must I do?

      I was having these same problems. When I would go to the Sims store from the actual Sims Games Launcher, it would open it in Internet Explorer. So i used Firefox insted and it all worked fine.
