I love the "Ghost Song"!

Do you also sometimes fall in love with the songs on the Sims radio channels? I'm totally addicted to the song from the ghost trailer. Here is the English original:

My other favourite is the main song from Island Paradise, but there seems to be no "original":

Finally I like the song "San Francisco" from the TS3 geek rock station. There is a nice live performance in English on Youtube:

I love every single one of those songs too. I actually downloaded San Francisco after hearing it on the Uni Life soundtrack.

I was always partial to Chocolate from TS2 and the Calypso version on TSCS.

@sarahzsmyl Great songs! Tbh, I don't remember the radio stations of Sims 2. But I love the general soundtrack of that game.

@alanmichael1, ditto. I SimPE'd most of them out and put them on my iPod back in the day. Hmmmm I should do that this weekend. I love that IP one. I loved that radio station in general. I need to add it to the collection.

Btw, an interesting documentary about the recording of the Sims 4 score has just been posted on Youtube:

Working with a full size symphony orchestra in the Abbey Road Studio must have been incredibly expensive. And the composer is cute B) .

I'd been a fan of The Mowgli's for a little while by the time Uni came out and I was freaking out when I heard San Francisco playing in my Sims' room. I'd love to be one of those people who decides what music to put in the game. I'd get to meet some of my favorite artists. <3 (Well, the ones that are alive, that is...)

I like that ghost song a lot, it's catchy. But not in relation to ghosts to be honest.

Sometimes it pays to be an oldtimer on these forums. I thought I recognized the beginning melody sequence from the Ghost Song. I remember listening to it in my teen years in the 1970s. I finally tracked it down! My husband's an ex-rock guitar player, so he also knew it right away---his band used to play it back then, too.

The song is called "Them Changes" originally written in 1970 by blues artist Buddy Miles. Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton had also done versions of it in my youth. The rest of the song is different, but it's the same beginning melody, no question. So it could have been the inspiration for at least a portion of the "Hit and Run" song by LOLO.

Here is a more recent version by Eric Clapton. Note the beginning riff. Interesting, huh? :)

    Thanks for sharing, @Pamhamlet.

Great song! I'd never heard it before and I like it a lot. And, you're right, there's no mistaking it.
