Awful Graphical Issues

Okay, so a few months ago I installed a brand new GeForce graphics card. I messed up my Internet then and my graphics card was loose at first. So I fixed that and here I am. So I got back to playing Sims 3 about 2 months ago but there are these awful, awful graphical glitches that randomly happen at the worst times. I'd post my screenshots, but apparently you can't post images on your computer anymore due to this new forum. :s
At first I thought the objects were just infinitely stretching (it even happened to my toddler's face once) until I saw my table attempt to morph it's model into my new stereo. That's right, my table was having a midlife crisis and wanted to look like that hip new stereo. Of course it hardly looked like it because in some places it was still stretching, but I could make out the shape of the stereo.
These glitches are getting so bad that I can't play Sims 3 anymore since the glitches are half the size of my screen and happen every five minutes. Also, if there is an actual way to import screenshots onto this new forum, tell me how to do it. This glitch is really hard for me to fully explain.
So, if there is a fix for this, such as my stereo just simply corrupted and I need to replace it, please tell me. Or am I eternally doomed to this retched glitch?

SungFishy, I get no lag on The Sims 3 (surprising) so I think they should change the "No"s to "Maybe". :p Also, I have no single idea why you're seeing AMD/ATI drivers.
Is this actually a new graphics card? The GeForce 9600 GSO is quite an old GPU now. If you're seeing what's shown in the image posted above (messy polygon), your graphics card may be overheating and/or failing. A lot of nVidia chips in that time frame were actually infamous for failing after a few years of use due to the GPU chip losing connection with the board (bad soldering that wore due to the repeated heating and cooling GPUs often undergo). That's why I ask if it's actually new or not. What that screenshot shows is a typical symptom of an overheating/improperly functioning GPU, so even a new one overheating could show that. If it only happens after playing for a while, it's probably heat related, but if it does it as soon as you start, it could be improperly functioning.
Do you have any other games or 3D applications you can use for testing this? Unless only The Sims 3 does this and you have a range of other games/3D applications that work fine, I'd suspect the card you added may be bad.
If you want to check temperatures, you can use HW Monitor. Install it and let it run in the background as you give the game a run for at least a few good minutes in any 3D mode, and then check and see what it reports as the highest temperature for the graphics card. Some graphics cards can run towards 85C in some heavier games, but if it goes North of around 90C too much, it's too warm (my rough guesstimates as general advice; I think different chips have different tolerances and some may have issues sooner and some may run seemingly fine a bit warmer, so your mileage may vary).
