    Is anyone else having freezing trouble? I just switch between my two sims and it freezes, also freezes every so often , I have the sims 2 on my laptop to ( disk versions) and not as many eps and it runs fine x

      Not me but, It Takes a while to switch between sims. like 5-10 Seconds.

      Mine used to freeze, too. I used CFF Explorer to allow Sims 2 UC to use more than 2gb of ram and that fixed mine freezing and lagging. Maybe it'll fix yours too?

      There is many ways the sims 2 can lag.

      - Spawning bystanders / Visitors

      - Day and Night transition

      - Fire and or Fire Fighter's Extinguisher

      - Too many sims in your neighborhood (The sim limit is presumably a population of 800 pets and the deceased are part of this count too)

      - Memory leaks (from what I heard the animations have these chances, or too many events possibly going on at once that the engine has to keep up with.)

      - VSync ( Try the cheat "VSync off" to turn off VSync)
