The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Issue

Hi everyone.
I am having an issue with the Ultimate Collection.
I downloaded the game to Origin by using this page: http://help.ea.com/au/article/how-to-get-the-sims-2-ultimate-collection/
It asked me to download the game onto my computer and I did. It took around an hour to an hour and a half to complete. However, it suddenly says this:
Now, when I went to check my disk space, I saw that this wasn't in fact the problem. The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection is only around 12GB. My computer says it has a lot of disk space available.
When I click on the game to open it, it starts up fine and everything. However, once the game loads, there aren't any towns on the game. I can't create towns either because there aren't any options to choose from.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what did you do to remedy the situation?
