New Laptop

I'm getting a new laptop. Would this laptop be okay to play the sims on?

Also, does anyone know if all microsoft computers come with office?

That one dosen't look like it can handle Sims 3 because there's nothing about dedicated graphics and it looks a bit weak for most games. You want one with a dedicated graphics card with at least 1gb of graphics memory.

Graphics card is definitely on the low end and the processor is on the slower end.

As for Microsoft Office, Microsoft does not put any type of Microsoft Office on new computers now. If you do not have a license left from a suite you already purchased, you'll have to buy it.

You will struggle to run Sims 3 on that laptop, you might get away with base game and possibly 1 ep. Ive run base game and WA on a laptop with HD4000 integrated graphics, so its not impossible to run on an integrated card, but its not exactly desirable either. The processor is also going to be very slow.

Really you are looking at spending double the cost of that laptop to get anywhere near being able to run all the eps you currently have. Google gaming laptops and see what comes up. Ideally you want i7 processor but you will get away with a good i5, you want 8gb ram and a graphics card, probably nvidea 740m or better.

That is all gibberish to me unless verbally explained! Haha. So that link just has me scratching my head. I bought this one?

But I got the AMD Quad -Core Processor A4-5000 Processor + 1GB AMD Radeon™ HD 8670M Discrete instead of the one that came with it per my husbands recommendation. My laptop right now has 4gb and 500gb so I got the same on that one because this one, I don't even have half the space used. That one should be good, right?
