fog in Midnight Hollow

I would like to know how the foggy conditions in this town was made? Is it done with an buy/build object or is it a new weather effect :?: :?

Twinbrook is very foggy, so I wouldn't say it's new. Ambitions was before Seasons, so the fog could be enhanced with Seasons. It's an environmental effect, so no object involved I would guess.

It is a setting you can change with the .ini files that come with worlds.

Since I'm not familiar with either method, I wouldn't touch the settings. With my luck I would screw up the game. :(

Ooo, that's part of the charm of Twinbrook and why it's one of my favorites. I love da fog!

The ground fog that can be viewed at a distance in Twinbrook is a game object.
Not a fog Emitter, these are used for FX on lots (up close viewing)
This object has to be modded to be accessible in CAW.
Check the CAW forum at Mod the Sims for more info here.

Edit: There is also a program available from MTS that lets you create custom sky/water without having to open world file.
The new INI package can be placed in Mod folder.
    You can find it here.

I just want to add. Since E.A. is making this town, they probably have made an object of some kind that would create permanent foggy conditions. Or they could modify the seasons to create a foggy world.

I'm also sure that they would take into account that not everyone has the Seasons. E.P.

    CK213,

I think until Midnight Hollow, Twin Brook was actually the creepiest of the official towns they made for the Sims 3, and one of the reasons was the fog.
