    By room object catalog confirmed

    For those Simscamp folks who were unclear on whether we would have a "by room" object catalog in addition to the new magazine view: we do.

      This means we can pick one object to place instead of a whole room. In the info a couple of days ago they talked like you could only place objects by room so this is great news. If you only want to place a tv in a living room you can go into the room object catalog and pick a tv to place vs going into the ikea catalog were you get rooms with lots of objects.

      We apparently have two buy modes the Ikea one which is combined with build mode and the room object catalog which lets you place specific objects.

      What about sorting by function? I find myself using that method rather than sorting by room.

      I prefer sorting by function, too. There are a few things I can never find in the "sort by room" mode in TS3, but I can find them when they're sorted by function (all the lamps in one place, etc.) :P

      I also highly prefer sort by function.

      The other person in my house prefers by room.
