The Sims 3 will not load correctly.

I want to play my game, I see the EA and MAXIS splash screens, then the intro. The first loading screen appears and it makes it through that. I select my town, it loads but at the end when it only has a few pixels to go before it finishes, it stops loading. It still says it's loading, but the bar doesn't move at all. I've left it for a whole twenty-four hours and the bar hasn't budged. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing everything. I have All EP's except UNI and I have HELS(Or D&HTS for you Europeans), OLS and MSS as SP's. I have 4GB of RAM, and that has nothing to do with it, because The Sims 3 worked before. I have 491GB of Hardrive space. I also have a AMD RADEON graphics card. (Not sure which model). Again, I do not believe any of these specs matter in my case. I have a sneaking suspicion that it was that sneaky Patch 1.50, but I can't be sure.

Is this problem happening with all your towns or just that one town you are mentioning? Does it happen when you start a new game?

It happens when I start a new game, and I have not tested it in other towns. Also, I just realised it can't be Patch 1.50 because I was playing with it before I reinstalled everything... I have narrowed it down to the possible packs:

Pets
Master Suite Stuff
Showtime
Supernatural

Seasons I uninstalled, but kept the others and it still didn't work. So it's one of these four. Or it's Patch 1.50

I would try the following to do a factory resetting of your game to test if your userdata is causing the issue.

Move the The Sims 3 folder from \My Documents\Electronic Arts\ to the Desktop. Play a test game and see if you have the same issues. Post your results back here.

Your system requirements meets the game's system requirements. Your graphics card is a go for almost all of the EPs except it's a maybe for Seasons. See here.

Even if patch 1.50 was stressing your graphics card, which I don't think it is, it wouldn't result in endlessly loading games. At this point, I'm really not sure what to try next.

It's a Toshiba, same as my grandaughter's rig so two things to do.

First search and get GameBooster, a free program that will shut down processes you don't need, run the booos right befor you play and use game booster to come back out of gaming mode.

Second, get a couple of cans of electronics duster (Compressed air) remove the battery or open the case and blow the dust out of the computer.
