Need help with a hightmap.

:)Hi can someone make me a hightmap.of this island.

The island is St Ignace island.it's in northern Ontario Canada.I tried to do it myself with this tutorial.

but i could not get it to work.I could not get this part to work.With google earth.It would not open in google earth.
SRTM Overlay for GoogleEarth (Run from URL once you've installed Google Earth - http://www.ambiotek.com/topoview).I tried to do it by just coping it then converting it into a hightmap.but when i scale it to the size i want it just gets squashed.I would like it to be 2048/2048.

I had a hard time with Google Earth also H, why don't you try with Earth Explorer? Here's a link to a tutorial:

It's easier than with Google Earth, but it is a bit more hit and miss in regard to getting the right data on the map, but give it a whirl, it's how I made my height map for Rio Rojo.
