I notice how many games have urban legends, myths, stories, and creepypastas associated with them, but I have not found any for the Sims series. I enjoy reading those sorts of things, so does anyone here know of any of those? Or should we start our own? :P

That's the only one I can think of that's classified as "Creepypasta".
Part One(Complete 9/24/16) /Part Two(on hold)/Short Stories(on hold)/Twinbrook 1996(on hold)/Ten Crystal Hearts (on hold)
I own the TS3 Store as of 12/11/16 (sort of. It's complicated)

It's a community of people who write/share stories that are sort of like legends, which are usually creepy or scary. Some are very good, others, not so much. Take a gander at the site, it might occupy a good hour or two of your time if you like it enough.

There are also other sites, just google Creepypasta. :]

Yay thank you! And yes, it does get kind of creepy. Bwahahahaha!
Hey you! Good to see you and Happy New Year!! How's the book coming?
Happy New Year!
Ah well - there are plans. Mostly to one day, when I can, finish 10 (the non-Sims story of Seth as a 15 year old sophomore in high school) and see if anyone might would want to publish it.
Right now I'm writing a little Sims story with Valley characters based on prompts that my friends gave me. It has a Christmas theme. And then I took a break, but once I get this Christmas story done I'm going back to....Valley 2! Yep! Writing the sequel, but it has reader participation, where every once in a while readers can suggest things for Lilith to do in response to the events in the story. It being Valley, I have rather strict rules for the suggestions and what I'll accept.
Yay *hugs*! How's your game going? Anything creepy going on? *to try and stay on topic*
Ah well nothing!! If nothing else you can self publish and I'll buy it and so will others. I want to read Seth's story. He's creepy to the bone but I bet the road there was very interesting.
Are you blogging it? Which story is it so I can follow it. I'm Vickodo on WP (yeah, I changed it).
Creepy? No. But I have plans... bwahahahaha Good to see you! And stop lurking! It's creepy. lolz
Edit: fix quote thing... one little slash missing and forget it...
Holy carp, I just read the whole thing in one setting!!! I'm not usually one for Sims storytelling, but you nailed it out of the park. Good read!
Oh wow yay! Thank you very very much! *happy dance* *bows*
I have considered self-publishing, yes. I have the first 8 chapters up on the blog if you want to read a bit. http://medleymisty.wordpress.com/10inde/
http://medleymisty.wordpress.com/howling-at-the-moon/ - that's Valley 2.
I take suggestions on the LJ - I double post everything on the WordPress and the LJ now.
And this is the index for the Christmas story, which I'm writing the next update right now. Lots of waffles and angst, but then one of the prompts was "Waffles. I miss the waffles, and I want to know more about them." So....

Also one of the prompts was "unicorns" but I don't have Pets, so I'm gonna use unicorn pics I found on Tumblr.
*lurks like Seth, watching, watching, always watching*
Again, to stay on topic - one time a friend had two of her female child-aged Sims dress up as Bella and Emma for Halloween, like Valley was a creepy legend in her game.
That was creepy, sad but creepy.
Yeah, waffles definitely became a thing. I even use it in casual conversation now - if I'm upset or in a bad mood I'll say I'm in the syrup.
And I try to keep all the suggestions on the LJ so everyone can see them in one place, and it's mostly the friends I've made on LJ through the LJ Idol writing contest that make the suggestions, so....
You can log in with your Facebook or Twitter if you don't have an LJ account!
I did consider asking someone for some unicorn pictures. Hmmm - my email is listed on the "Who writes this?" page on the WordPress if you want to talk and be friends and hang out and discuss unicorns. Although actually I believe I have a comment waiting from you and maybe your email is listed with it?
Seth should still be up for download, along with everyone else. Their Valley house is in the premade house bin.
And I aim for there to be plenty of new stuff to read this year. 2010 and 2011 were really tough, with the the bullying and hate I went through in the Sims community (yeah, Valley's positive attention attracted negative attention too), and 2012 was spent recovering and finding new healthy friends and climbing up out of that hole. And now - I hope 2013 will be spent writing and making lots of new awesome Sims stories!
OH! I found and read Sim Albert today. Hmmm. I don't know if it's creepy, really, but I enjoyed the bits where the one Sim set fire to things.
