Why do Sims walk in and out of the ocean like they have a stick stuck up there?

My sim was lounging in the ocean and when she started walking back onshore, she was walking like she had a stick jammed up her backside, all tiptoeing and walking all cautiously.

I've swam in the ocean before, and when you enter the water, the sand tugs at you and you will walk like that, maybe not quite as soon as the sims do it, but I thought it was fairly accurate......

I use to live in Florida, near the beach and when you walk into the water you shuffle your feet so the stingrays can get out of your way. Trust me, you do not want to step on one of those suckers. I thought is was great that EA actually had the sims doing something I used to do. :D

When I go the beach I always walk in like that because it's so cold!
Its annoying when they do it while they're in the water though.
