Probably not without some lag, and maybe other problems, even with everything set to low. Macbooks are not made for playing games, just light school/work stuff. I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to risk burning the computer out faster. It says right on the page for the download what the specs are. Here:
Minimum System Requirements
Operating System: 10.9.5 (Mavericks), 10.10.5 (Yosemite), 10.11 (El Capitan), 10.12 (Sierra)
CPU Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo (Dual-Core) CPU Speed: 2.2 GHz
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 10 GB
Video Card (ATI): Radeon HD 3870
Video Card (NVIDIA): Geforce 8800
Video Card (Intel): HD 3000
Video Memory (VRam): 256 MB
Peripherals: Macintosh mouse and keyboard
Note the 2.2Ghz is only for the game. Your operating system still needs processing power to run also, 1.8 won't cut it.
