  • My sim and Brant Hecking are expecting their third child. I've been playing The Sims 3 since it was released and only switched to The Sims 4 a few months ago. I didn't realise that Brant was married to Brent, once I did Brent got a swift delete. Lol. I also sent them on a holiday in Sulani for a few days which was fun.
  • Thank you for posting the Stop Sniffing mod. This has been driving me crazy recently! It takes up so much time but love the kit. Not had any issues with it since the patch either.
  • I love that they are providing us with free trials to give a pack a go before spending our money on it. I actually brought Snowy Escape last week before the free trial (doh) but luckily enough I absolutely love it! The world is beautiful, the skiing/snowboarding skill is really fun to watch and makes for a great vacation.
  • I always create just one sim and play them on their own for a bit. Then I look to extend the family with a partner, children, etc. Although having said that, I created a family of two young adult sisters a while ago with completely different personalities and they actually became one of my favourite sim families to date.
  • I always like to play different games with different stories. Sometimes I like to play happy families with lots of children, while other times I just want to play a group of YA's parting at university. I like to switch it up but I do stick to a certain game for a while. At the moment I am playing with my 'legacy' save and…
  • I also have my sims eat twice a day. I find that their hunger need is always low in the morning and then in the evening, so this just works out as breakfast and dinner. Toddlers are also the same, 2 meals a day.
  • I always get attached to my starter homes due to the fact I actually prefer playing in a small house. There's something cute and cosy about sims being in a small house. When different stairs, floors and rooms are added I'm not as attached to the house!
  • Yep I've found that the easiest way to do this is to do enough friendly interactions that the "Ask to be friends" option comes up. From this you can start again as friends and then onto romantic interactions. I've found if you try to do loads of romantic interactions with an ex they usually get annoyed and 'creeped out'.
  • This is one of the things I love most about The Sims 3. I do like some of the clothing options for The Sims 4 but the fact I am unable to change the patterns on items or the colour combos drives me insane!
  • The Sims has followed me from child to young adult, cannot believe how quickly the time has gone.
  • I used to always play the Goth family in The Sims 1 & 2 but never took interest in them in 3 & 4. I still like seeing them walk past in town etc.
  • When at work you note down ideas on what to do with your Sims game when you get home, and I wonder why I am always behind on work.
  • I am SO impressed with the toddlers. It actually made me start my Sims 4 game up and play for a couple of hours. :) I hadn't really touched it since it had been released. I love that when my parent sim went to work I was still able to play as the toddler. The relationship she has with her nanny is so cute! And I love when…
  • Super Cute.
  • All of my sims have the "Natural Cook" trait as I can't stand wasting time when they burn the food. Appearance wise my sims usually all have the same look to them, 9 times out of 10 I will use the same sim as a template in all of my families. Whenever I'm not in the mood to play a "perfect" sim I will usually…
  • I don't usually take any townies with me to new towns but I do love the Frio brothers in Sunset Valley. Whenever I am bored with gameplay I will always turn to them. I love how their personalities are complete opposites.
  • I'm only playing with one sim at the moment. I've just got a new laptop so I'm more amazed at going into different lots and seeing that sims are actually there (!!!) and no lag! But apart from that I don't actually know what do with her. She's currently in the Politics career as it's a career I rarely play! [/img]…
  • Thank you @aricarai ! Thank you @Simasaurus09 . How do I go about PMing you please ?! Regarding the sgr files. Also, the nvidia panel, ok shall I just click the option 'on' then when I add sims 3.exe? Thanks a lot for your help.
  • Hi all, So I purchased the Asus laptop but I'm having a bit of an issue on getting the Sims to recognise my graphics card. I have edited the .sgr files and the "not recognised" pop up has disappeared however on my Deviceconfig it is only saying Found: 1 Matched: 0. I have looked through everything and I feel like I have…
  • So I came home from work today to order the Medion laptop off of Argos and its out of stock! :( @Kylieb191 I am having no luck!!!…
  • @phoebebebe13 I went into my local Pc World last night and they didn't have it in stock :( only the Asus laptop above it with a better graphics card however it had 128 SSD but was 999. @Kylieb191 thanks so much. I want to have all the expansions packs installed aswell as CC so thank you for linking. I didn't know they had…
  • I think I have found the same laptop on very however it is not on sale! :( http://www.very.co.uk/asus-rog-gl552vw-dm201t-intelreg-coretrade-i7-processor-8gb-ram-1tb-hard-drive-amp-256gb-ssd-156-inch-full-hd-gaming-laptop-with-2gb-nvidia-gtx960m-graphics-black/1600131564.prd
  • And I'm not sure of any other sites that have finance options unfortunately. Although if I was able to get the laptops on sale around £400 That are sold out I would of just been able to buy it which is very gutting !
  • Oh man that's so gutting :( £400 would have been absolutely perfect ! Thanks so much for looking around I really appreciate that. I'll try see if they do that laptop in my local store but can't find an option to check the stock online  So it's looking like either the original acer or a desktop!
  • @phoebebebe13 ok great thanks for clearing up My budget is around £850 but I was looking at that particular site as they have payment options so this will be easier for me paying over time.
  • Thank you for your comments ! @phoebebebe13 I honestly have no idea what that means lol. How would I go about downloading on a HDD hard drive ? Would it still work ok ? And also you mentioned the graphics card.. are they not good enough? ( I am clueless! )…
  • Thanks so much :) I know a desktop would definitely be better but I don't like the idea of being stuck in one room and not being able to take it around with me from my house to my mums house.. can't decide ! Lol
  • I think pets is a great expansion for the game. It adds a lot to family play and I also like the neighbourhood that comes with it. I think it depends on how you personally like to play with the game. If you are more of a family player I think expansion packs like Pets, Generations & Seasons are great for the game.…
  • Thanks for the help! :)
  • Thank you very much for the help @phoebebebe13 :)
