Guess it hints at an occult/supernatural pack but I don't play that stuff (though will buy paranormal and strangerville on sale ) so hoping for something a bit more normal, family game play like generations, farming or a game pack/stuff pack with a cool world set in Europe or S Africa, Ireland, somewhere away from US. But…
I like Sims 4 now, hated it at the beginning as it didn't have anything and we've had to buy in all the features, however really love playing it now especially the BB and CAS. It runs better 100% better than TS3 and I much prefer it (shocker ik). Have heard people speculate in the past that EA wouldn't produce sims 5…
Like them both, but have mixed feelings for EL , literally I live the EL irl recycling repurposing and sustainable food etc and grew up in a hippy type family. But sims is a fantasy and my play style is very controlling. As the sims overlord NAPS was upsetting to say the least. Dumpster woohoo is a truly repulsive vile…
Yes i play rotational family gameplay, and play for soap opera storylines, also it's realistic.... most of the sims don't have time for divorce because we have to get round to all the other families but one sim has two sons in separate families plus own family, it works pretty well with all the half brothers and sisters.…
Excellent thank you, good to hear about your 4yr save working, i have one special save from when TS4 launched, I'll give that a go :) and test the mods tsym
No mods, I use a small amount of cc, and that's bad enough to remember at every patch. Have tried mods but my laptop hates me for it, plus a lot of things don't bother me i played sims 1 and that was far far more limited, the only thing i would like is children's gardening mod (or for EA to include it in an update!) but…
Idk if you're still having problems but I play offline/online since sims 4 launch (because of varying internet reception depending where I am), originally origin supported offline play fine, but more recently it would glitch and origin would fail to load 70% of the time after playing purely offline mode.. a workaround was…
ok thank you so if starting an old save that's not your current one, with it all turned off from the get go, and still see things /effects then that's a bug? what mods are you using to resolve saves? i don't use mods but not opposed to it if its the only work around
Aww thank you so much :) . They all look cute, love the #2 girl with the skirt especially , and the little boy #8 looks just like my sims son, so will try it on him!
maybe, only if they offer a world as a kit or something like a chicken coop or mechanical bull, though EA would probably sell those as stuff packs or game packs ...
Thanks everyone for your advice and the info, its been helpful to know what the existing issues are. Dine out is a great idea (reminds me of hot date S1). Already have routing problems esp with Uni , i think my sims may have amuse themselves with vending machines and food trucks for a while yet :) I hope these issues get…
The idea of a pay monthly multiplayer online sims 5 makes me anxious, one made to fit cross platform ... it moves further away from what made sims great. An optional online play feature maybe ok, love the gallery in sims 4. But Sims was given me as a gift when a kid, there’s no way my family would have bought a monthly sub…
Was watching just for fun but a game changer posted a yt video with a MASSIVE spoiler about strangerville the mother without a warning. Also agreed can't trust their opinions since they push sales
I don’t use CC or mods because I learnt my lesson with sims 3 and am trying to live minimally :D Also the gallery is amazing, so much talent in builds and sims using in game CAS, really kudos to them. Nowadays am too busy to remember to move things every time I want to play following an update In sims 2 I made CC Sims 3…
Chose City living because most of my families live there and when at uni many room there... but played with island living university cats and dogs and city living... think they all get used :)
Yes ty I’m going for SE , have already played showtime so have experience similar to GF... SE world vibe is something new ... don’t remember EA ever making the option to live in that kind of world in past Sims packs (sims 1,2,3) only for vacationing... (except player made Asian worlds/neighbourhoods). Plus the culture and…
Thanks for the chart! My ideas on packs are all around New worlds ... unpopular opinion but I don’t mind the worlds not being open if there’s world variety... thought there was a survey not long ago voting for S African city, Scottish Highland, Greek Island etc different countries, any or all of them in packs would be…
Thanks for everyone for your input and advice!!! Had to put off buying bc of covid issues but am waiting for the next sale to buy Snowy escape  for the world / culture , if it’s anything like Sulani, a lovely change from American suburbs (I’m in London UK) will love it <3
I've had the game for a while now, despite reading reviews that were pretty negative. I've also been a long time player, I have TS1, TS2, TS3. I bought TS1 the year after it's release. the good points first: CAS and build/buy mode are really well done. My fav thing overall. CAS is great, the sims themselves are a lot…
Gotta say, i struggle to choose for them, because as you say traits don't seem to make that much difference in TS4. i keep waiting for my sims to choose on their own but they never do ... i go for looks/traits first but it'd be nice if the little pixels had a preference, a compatibility, an attraction system like TS2 turn…
i'm excited because it might liven up the game a bit and there's been no extra content (asides from patches) but it seems expensive... not too keen on the whole 'national park venue' idea though. wait to hear more
in sims 3 cars and apartment buildings where glitchy in my game. sims 2 apartments i didn't really like either. personally can live without those things but i would love an urban world where apartment living is possible, and there is cc cars available to DL
