Maxis spent a lot of effort stripping toddlers of a lot of interactions. Unfortunately they also hard coded the tots so that almost all of the autonomy they enjoy in TS2 isn't even possible to mod in TS3. Shades of things to come. Ugh.

mod that let sims 3 toddlers play in sand?

It actually adds a little sandpile that can be recoloured to suit sand or dirt, etc, and is a clone from the peg toy.

hmm so it is more of a mod/pc item thing.... hmm I will consider it... it is cute... but right now I mod the toys in the sandbox and get the same result more or less.... not sure I use it then.

the sandpile mod Works great for toddlers and let adults to teach them playing with it, though it is too much appealling to adults with the childish trait IMO, they use to make sand catles anytime they can...

Ahh, okay! I will stick around a little bit longer then haha. And I'll check out your threads. I play Sims 3 only, I don't like Sims 4. :( It has great potential, but as long as it doesn't support my play style as a legacy player, I guess I'll just stick with Sims 3.

I was thinking the same thing. It could just be me, but I personally think they deliberately stripped down toddlers in Sims 3 to make more players dislike them, so when Sims 4 came out they would be so relieved not to have to "deal" with toddlers at all. It's a shame really, because toddlers would be so awesome in Sims 4, along with real babies! EA shot themselves in the foot.

It was posted by the CEO's wife on Instagram it seems and on Twitter by @SimGuruLyndsay today. It was to celebrate the birth of the CEO's new baby, so congrats to him. I do think the render is cute and reminds me of Pixar toddlers. It is very well done and I wouldn't mind if we ever get toddlers, they end up looking as cute as that.

agree toddlers like that and obtion to get family pictures taken would work well for me.

if they free patch toddlers (and maybe preteens do to the to tall teens)
and then make a family EP.... packed to the brin with family interactions.... they might got me... but not as preorder

by a working free patch with aditional stuff in an EP and a Stuf pack and a Gamepack

actually 2014 and 2015 have been mainly about young adults party and a little about jobs

let 2016 be all about families

that would make me happy

Eh I'm no more disappointed than I was before. I expected it was a fake just like all the other billions of toddler rumors. I think SimGuruDrake did edit it to be titled rumor.

THink our enjoying the sims 3 or 2 toddlers is more healty...
realistickly trying to show EA we want family play

but not hypeing.....

I think we better of


though I do HOPE that hypes like that wake up EA so we get family play...... even many non family players wants it to be created now.... thats nice and shows EA that simmers like the diversity

I belive core elements of the new life stage come with a free patch,or household category of Gallery can be ignored (or be trolled) by some players.
I don't think EA like it.
They can earn money with family oriented pack that attaracts family players ie. pack restricted objects with special animations.
This is one of the best solution.
